Fujifilm X-Pro2

The Fujifilm X-Pro2 puts an optical viewfinder in a slim mirrorless design, making it one of the most fun—and capable—cameras on the market.

Quick focus and 8.2fps burst shooting. Large buffer. Unique hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder. Focus selection joystick. Film emulation modes. All-weather build. Dual SD slots. Wi-Fi.

Optical viewfinder not well-suited for telephoto lenses. Fixed LCD doesn't support touch input. Video limited to 1080p. Omits built-in flash. Expensive.

Conclusions I absolutely adore the Fujifilm X-Pro2. It's compact, sealed for use in inclement weather, and backed by a strong lens system with many top-quality, affordable options. It also delivers the best image quality we've seen to date in an X...

The Fujifilm X-Pro2 is a fantastic camera, but it's not for me

I've been looking forward to the X-Pro2, Fujifilm's flagship mirrorless camera, ever since switching over to the X Series 18 months ago. To understand why, you...

Fujifilm X-Pro2 review: my favorite camera

Fujifilm's new X-Pro2 is a tough camera to review by any ordinary metric — it's an exotic tool that defies rational purchasing decisions. There are cameras in its price range that will give you...

Incomparable viewfinder ; Awesome focus joystick ; Excellent image quality and performance

Fiddly ISO dial ; Smaller EVF than X-T1 ; No tilt-screen

Fujifilm X-Pro2 Review

The X-Pro2 is a high-end, rangefinder-esque mirrorless camera that directly succeeds the first X-mount camera: the X-Pro1. The Pro2 is based around a 24MP APS-C sensor and a host of feature improvements in a body that very closely resembles that of its...

Fujifilm X-Pro2

The Fujifilm X-Pro2 has a look that will remind you of many other mirrorless Fujifilm cameras, as they offer a retro style with plenty of dials and buttons to control the camera's primary settings. But the X-Pro2 sets itself apart from most other...

ISO performance is outstanding versus other mirrorless cameras ; Hybrid viewfinder is a great feature and offers good versatility ; Many upgrades over the X-Pro1 ; Good overall image quality in a variety of shooting conditions ; Can shoot in both JPEG...

Camera's price is pretty high for a mirrorless model ; No built-in flash unit ; Battery life could be better ; Camera will take some practice to learn to use all of the dials and buttons efficiently; no mode dial is used ; EV dial hangs over back edge...

The Fujifilm X-Pro2 is a compact system camera featuring a brand new 24 megapixel X-Trans III sensor, high-performance X Processor Pro image processing engine, an Advanced Hybrid Multi Viewfinder which cleverly combines an optical viewfinder and an...

It may look outwardly very similar to its 4-year-old predecessor, but the new X-Pro2 represents a big step forward in almost every area for Fujifilm's X-series camera range - we'd definitely expect to see virtually all of the X-Pro2's new features on...

Fujifilm X-Pro2 Review

The Fuji X-Pro2 offers excellent image quality across a wide range of ISO speeds, user-friendly and retro-inspired ergonomics, a new high-resolution 24-megapixel sensor and a vastly-improved hybrid autofocus system, among many other new features and...

Weather-sealed, ergonomic camera body; Fast hybrid AF system; Excellent high ISO performance; Improved continuous shooting performance; Better video quality than previous Fuji cameras

Some controls don't impress; Continuous autofocus still lags behind competing DSLR cameras; No 4K video; Fixed LCD without touchpanel

Fujifilm X-Pro2 review

Fujifilm's X-Pro2 is the new flagship body in the mirrorless X-series, featuring a hybrid optical and electronic viewfinder, dual SD slots, weather-sealing and a new 24 Megapixel X-Trans CMOS sensor with embedded Phase Detect Autofocus. Announced in...

Superb image quality - best in class for OOC ; Innovative hybrid viewfinder ; Broad array of embedded PDAF points for good CAF ; Weatherproof construction ; Dual memory card slots and AF joystick ; Built-in Wifi with good smartphone control

Screen doesn't articulate and isn't touch-sensitive ; Basic three frame AE bracketing ; No 4k video and limited movie control ; No USB charging in-camera ; EV dial easily turned when removing from bag

Fujifilm's X-Pro2 takes the beloved rangefinder-style body that launched the X-mount and makes a raft of significant upgrades. Some may have been gradually deployed on more recent models or with firmware updates, but there's also a lot that's genuinely...

Fujifilm X-Pro2 - Fujifilm finally gets the rangefinder right

Fujifilm's latest flagship camera has been packed with all of their latest technologies, but how does it really perform when put to the test? Read on to find out.

Great layout of controls. ; Excellent image quality. ; Autofocus is much improved. ; Hybrid viewfinder adds an extra dimension.

Auto white balance has issues with tungsten lighting.

The X-Pro2 is certainly a most impressive camera. It addresses all of the faults of the X-Pro1 and brings performance that easily surpasses the

Fujifilm X-Pro2 Digital Camera Review

The X-Pro2: The ultimate photographer's camera.

The X-Pro2 is certainly not "baby's first camera"; it's a photographer's camera through and through that does an excellent job complementing the more workman-like Fujifilm X-T1 . It's a camera that requires a fair amount of patience, but it has so many...
