Olympus E-PL2

The Olympus E-PL2 is the least expensive compact interchangeable-lens camera you can buy. And while it offers very good image quality and great features, some same-price cameras use even larger image sensors and deliver better low-light performance.

Beautiful image quality. Compact body. Large image sensor. Digital accessories port and hotshoe. Dual menu system tailored toward either beginners or seasoned photographers. Silent autofocus during video recording with kit lens.

Low light performance isn't as good as cameras with APS-C-size image sensors. Proprietary USB port.

Olympus E-PL2 review

For its E-PL2, Olympus makes some design and feature enhancements, as well as performance tweaks, to its PEN E-PL1 Micro Four Thirds camera. The result is a noticeably better camera, delivering better photo quality and an improved shooting experience...

The E-PL2 delivers excellent photo quality, with an extremely customizable interface.

Performance has improved, but the E-PL2 still couldn't be classified as fast overall.

A great interchangeable-lens model if you're looking for better photo quality and/or a more advanced feature set than your current point-and-shoot offers, the Olympus PEN E-PL2 still doesn't satisfy for photographing active kids and pets.

Olympus E-PL2

The Olympus E-PL2 replaces, or rather modifies, the Olympus E-PL1 , Olympus' Micro Four Thirds hybrid camera. As an “update” it doesn't rewrite the book, it doesn't usher in a new round of features or a new design, but it does make a few tweaks to keep...

Compact, good build quality, Art Filters are fun, simple controls, some great quality results, growing number of accessories in the Micro Four Thirds arena

Not much of a change over the E-PL1, some intermittent shadow noise at low ISOs

Priced at £529 at launch, the biggest problem the Olympus E-PL2 faces is being priced too close to more capable entry-level DSLR models, which ultimately will offer finer detail in the same conditions. However, the looks and the compact nature, along...

Olympus E-PL2 Review,Price in india,Features

The fourth in the E-PL series of Olympus's offerings of interchangeable-lens cameras with D-SLR-quality speed and images, but in smaller-than-D-SLR bodies, the Olympus E-PL2 delivers all that is promised.

Olympus E-PL2 Compact System Cameras

An elegantly styled micro four thirds interchangeable lens camera that produces high quality images. I've used this camera for over 2 weeks and can't say anything really negative about it. Although the poorer performance in lower light conditions at...

Olympus E-PL2 with 14-42mm lens

Its image quality compared to a digi-cam is remarkable.

Cost, I think the camera and lenses are expensive, you may consider DSLR and invest your money in the lenses that will fit on full frame cameras.

Olympus E-PL2 with 14-42mm lens

Great proper camera feel, really well put together, excellent quality particularly for the size of the camera. Encourages creativity, have shot some of my best photos yet. Good expandability and very versatile. Looks great too!

Nothing significant, would be hard to improve on this for what I'm looking for out of a camera.
