It would not work with my Toshiba TV as the remote also interfered with the TV, for example Channel+ for the Tuner Adaptor also operated the Source on the TV. Tried it on another TV and it kept randomly turning off. Had to be returned.

I've always wanted a DVD but was put off by the price and the fact it meant having to reinvest in a DVD film library alongside my substantial video library. It does take a lot of determination to buy the same film twice and at greater cost!

The battery lasts 6 hrs and is placed well. The unit will play DVD-Rs with no problems. I also liked the fact that it came with both AC and DC power adapters and A/V ccables.
