Networking via WiFi works well (incl. BBC iPlayer, YouTube & access to music and video on connected PC's) ; Tidy looks ; Very good picture quality from DVD, HDD and built-in Freeview HD tuners ; Cheap ; Haven’t used Bluray or 3D functions

Doesn't work properly ; Refuses to turn off ; Sometimes the HR650 continues to record well after program selected for recording has finished (2+ hour over-run needed manual intervention to stop recording) ; Sometimes shuts down then immediately...
