Bebook One eReader

Endless Ideas, a Netherlands-based office electronics manufacturer, introduced the BeBook at the end of 2008, not as a new e-reader but a variant of the Chinese Hanlin V3. It has the same 6-inch built, portability, and matte finish, but the BeBook 1...

When it comes to formats, the Bebook 1 Electronic Book Reader has most of them covered; it currently supports 24 formats, more than any other ereader. In-book, you can bookmark a page for future reference, zoom in or out a page, change the font type,...

For $249, the BeBook 1 Electronic Book Reader gives everything you need from an e-reader. It’s also a wonderful answer for users who live of the US and who have problems getting a reliable e-reader. AmazonKindle 2 $259! DiscoverThe New Amazon Kindle!...

BeBook eBook reader

While the US went Kindle crazy and Europe is relatively awash with eBook readers you still have to hunt fairly hard for them in Australia. That has led BeBook to fill the near void Down Under with this model

For now, though, this $499 BeBook offers an excellent size and performance to provide an enthralling introduction to eBook life. So let’s see how the utility of eBooks, and the BeBook reader in particular, compares with the original article.

No point: screen too delicate

I bought a bebook about 18 months ago and was very happy with it until the screen broke. The e-ink screen is the most sensitive component and broke quite easily. The costs of repair is prohibitive, especially when you compare the the price of a Kindle...

BeBook-eBook ReaderI have had the Be-Book for several months, the manual was difficult to follow but persevering with the device gets you there in the end. The most irritating fault on my unit is that it does not align the page correctly with the last...
