An affordable device, the View Quest BookBox is cheaper than nearly all the best known eBook readers on the market. It features a TFT LCD screen rather than E-ink – unlike eBook readers – so you'll get full colours rather than black and white

The colour screen may sound like a good thing, but it's just not suited to reading on the move. It's too vivid and painful on the eyes after medium or long term use, and poor viewing angles mean you'll have to hold the View Quest BookBox at the correct...

Gadget lovers will no doubt hate the View Quest BookBox. It's just not well made enough to appeal, and struggles to compete when it comes to reading electronic books. That said, the cheap price makes it perfect for an entertainment centre for the kids.
