God of War: Chains of Olympus – PSP

The appearance of Kratos, the star of the God of War series, on the PSP isn't at all surprising. In fact, he's just the latest in a long line of staunch Sony loving characters that have made the jump to the handheld world to try and help the PSP catch...

Incredible technically, more God of War goodness, loads of combat

Lack of adventuring aspects

In spite of the limitations of the platform, God of War: Chains of Olympus is not only stellar title for the PSP, but a stunning game outright.

God Of War review

Kratos is back with a boy, a beard, and his best game ever.

Fantastic father-son dynamic ; Insanely satisfying combat ; Rewarding progression system ; Stunning visual presentation

World navigation can be a bit confusing

Kratos is father-of- the-year in another phenomenal first-party PlayStation 4 offering

God of War: Ragnarok (PS5) review: A super sized sequel

A great God of War game, even if it was a little less memorable than the 2018 prequel.

- Fantastic story telling ; - One of the best-looking PS5 game ; - Great combat

- Skills and upgrades can be tedious to manage ; - Too many puzzles

God of War

Kratos and his son's venture into Norse mythology is a brave new step for the God of War titles, producing one of the best games of the year, and perhaps in franchise history.

Stunning environments and detailed characters; Superb voice acting by leads; Sharp gameplay; Brilliant storytelling

Main campaign a bit short

This new God of War is not the same as previous titles, and that's a good thing. Kratos and the franchise needed to evolve. Much like the very first game back in 2005 changed things for this genre of gaming, the latest offering rips up the old formula...

We’re not ones to anger the Gods

Reason enough to bag a PS4 Pro and smash your way to violence-fuelled gaming nirvana

God of War: Ascension Review

God of War: Ascension Review gives an in-depth detail about the game. This latest video game comes with new gamplay mode.

• Spectacular visuals ; • Good storyline ; • Amazing level of detail in graphics ; • Solid set of enemies

• New combats mechanics feel quite irritating ; • Camera sometimes look awkward ; • Kratos’ abilities and armor have been stripped off

All in all, Our God of War: Ascension Review is also a mix response to the title, somewhat good, somewhere not up to the mark. The game comes with same old button mashing system along with quick combo fights. A single player franchise with multiplayer...

God Of War Review (PS4)

God Of War is both a sublime technical showcase and an outstanding game, reworking the iconic PlayStation franchise into a fresh and unique new experience.

Games of this quality don't come along very often. It's an aesthetic delight from start to finish – visuals are practically peerless and music is utterly incredible throughout – and it's just so vast and varied that it really does feel like a journey....
