560LT Upgrade

 

Purchased this when my 560LT no longer had map updates. Still uses the clean interface that Garmin is used for. I like the live lane assist, split screen, notifications for traffic and other hazards, Garmin Connect features, and my 560's dashboard...

Cons are normal Garmin things. It is a little more difficult to input your destination as you need to choose the city, then search the address. One little typo and it won't find it. The stored exit services database is very limited, only giving you...

Not what I expected from Garmin

 

If it didn't freeze up so often it's still a worthy buy, but with the constant freezing, sluggish map draw, and inaccurate truck routing, it's not a very good model. I used an older car model to which I was much happier with cause it was much cheaper....

Lovely garmin interface we've come to expect. 7" screen

Truck routes not accurate, hardware is very sluggish and freezes a lot, lane assist is not as good as in other garmin models. I'm not very happy with this purchase

Really good GPS

 

The GPS came with all needed cables, suction mounts that you will need. Set up is extremely easy and updating maps is even easier.

It has a battery so you can plan your trip before you are in the vehicle. Large screen that display everything clearly, garmin maps with updates and even traffic. This GPS has also extended functionality for truck drivers, where they need to know if...

for over 2 weeks of usage, I found not cons so far.

have a 5" Garmin and wanted to update to larger screen. Old folks need larger visual! Is similar to the old one and haven't used it much yet. Bought a Good Sam Camping World one a while back and after reading through the manual took it back. Travel...

So far only very minor issues

 

Purchased for a 3 month tour of the USA. So far so good. I noticed it shows almost all the roadside rests before you get to them...a real plus. As an RV guide it does show some of the RV parks but by no means all of them. I have passed several RV parks...

This Garmin GPS may be OK for cars, but not for RVs as advertised. It can't locate services near interstate highways, does not alter its course based on RV height and, once enroute, it lacks a way to start a trip from other than its present location. I...

Love this product!!

 

We used it all the way from Tampa Florida, right through Atlanta, Georgia, and all the way to Manitoba Canada. It took us right to our doorstep. We used the traffic alerts and they were excellent! A great product!

Garmin 760LMT

 

Works very well for what we need. Easy to use. The only problem is the Garmin does not stay attached to the base on the dash & will come off. So, we are looking for an alternate way to secure the Garmin.
