Garmin has been designing GPS equipment since 1990 - which is a considerable timeframe for the relatively new GPS consumer market. Garmin's products are well worth considering if youâ'"re looking for the best car gps system for your money

The c310 is a doppelgã¤nger for TomTom's One with a large touchscreen and UK and European maps loaded onto an SD card

Large, bright touchscreen. UK and European road maps on SD card. Sturdy cradle system.

Outdoor GPS doesn't stand it in good stead with the in-car crowd. Voice commands tinny.
