Needs good Windows drivers. Works like a champ on Linux

Nice product, somewhat challenging instructions/software

The product is fine, appears to work as described. I'm using it with my netbook and a free nautical Navigation program but haven't had a chance to test it other than seeing that it does pinpoint my current location. I am looking forward to using them...

Perfect. The right size and does everything you would want in a GPS receiver. There are some less expensive on the market but I've used this model before and it never let me down. It goes with me all over the world.

Why you should buy this (for 45 dollars or less)

The holux GR-213-U comes with a fairly long cable and is advertised as water proof. I have not tested this. However, I did break this thing apart to mod inside a netbook. I couldnt get reception there. I removed it.. soldered a new usb cable to it...
