Magellan RoadMate 360

Customize the shortest route and avoid tolls with the RoadMate 360.

TomTom software and maps preloaded • Sleek design • Simple HP Quick Launch interface • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth • Several travel-related utilities included

Short battery life with GPS receiver on • TomTom POI data not up to date

Magellan RoadMate 360

Review: The Magellan RoadMate 360 is the most affordable ($499.99) member of the company's RoadMate series of vehicle navigators, and like its more expensive siblings, it offers a powerful GPS receiver and accurate, turn-by-turn, voice-guided driving...

The Magellan RoadMate 360 is an affordable GPS device you can easily move from car to car. It offers voiced-guided driving directions, a large points-of-interest database, and a strong 14-channel receiver

The Magellan RoadMate 360 lacks some of the extra features offered in similarly priced systems, such as traffic services and Bluetooth

The Magellan RoadMate 360 is a good bet if you're looking for an accurate vehicle navigator for less than $500, but we wish it offered a few more features.

Magellan RoadMate 360

The RoadMate GPS device has capable navigation and well-designed search, but its hardware buttons add bulk.

Capable navigation, good search

somewhat bulky, no battery

Type: Automobile, Display Type: Touch, Power: Adapter, Turn-by-turn: yes, 3D View: no, Hard Drive: no, Additional M...

Good screen. Complete set of U.S. maps built into the system.

No 3D view. Unintuitive Interface.

The Magellan RoadMate 360's preloaded maps and turn-by-turn guidance are great, but maneuvering the interface is more difficult than it should be.

Pretty good GPS

What exactly did Magellan toss money into the trash for by packing a USB cable with this unit? It is not updateable (I don't care what Magellan says) and you can't x-fer data between PC and GPS with it (again, I don't care). I have seen it take up to...

Large, easy-2-read screen. Easy to learn and use

Slow re-routing. Often chooses a longer route than needed. NOT UPDATEABLE

While the Roadmate 360 seems to be well designed, the Magellan support is basically non existant. The web site is extremely difficult to navigate, and when you finally get where you want to be there is virtually no usable help. I recently inquired...
