Great way to geotag pictures

Works as expected. Startup time can be slow at times and has trouble indoors - but that is in the nature of GPS and the product can\'t be blamed for that. At least it gives good visual feedback if it has a signal (shows \'no signal\', \'weak\' and...

Does exactly what it\'s supposed to

Grabs satellite positions fast enough on start up and very quickly on restart. To preserve battery, one MUST turn camera off when not in active use.

Spot on!

The GPS unit on my Nikon D90 provides accurate place identification to within a foot or two with iPhoto \'09. So far, it is a few yards off (usually to the north) in Adobe Lightroom 2 (with the same latitude and longitude numbers). These programs seem...

Does what you would expect

Great little GPS unit and works as advertised; however, there are a few tricks. If you move the unit across town it will take a few minutes to blink solid green. To prevent this when I am near my destination I will set my camera\'s metering timer to 5...

Works great

Pros: - accurate - convenient and simple to use - quick warm start-up (3 seconds or less) Cons: - on D90 the built-in cannot be opened and used while installed in the shoe (it can be attached to the strap, so not a major issue) - the cable is too long...

Works as advertised

Works great, takes a little time to acquire GPS signals. Typically the first time 1-2 minues. The unit fits into the camera shoe so the built-in flash is no longer useable. Has a clip if you want to attached to the camera straps. The connector on the...
