Pharos Drive GPS 200 Navigator

Maxell’s Encore EN-5 offer a rich, full sound for an affordable price, beating out nearly all of the headphones in the test. However, our testers didn’t think they were very comfortable, nor did this pair do a good job staying put during use....

nbsp ; Excellent sound quality ; Adjustable ; Can withstand multiple drops ; Water-resistant ; Light weight and wraps up tightly for easy portability

nbsp ; Didn’t take much force to remove the headphones during our force test ; Consumer testers didn’t find them very comfortable to wear for long periods of time ; Didn’t always stay put during use for our consumer testers

An incredible GPS

Simply put, this is a great GPS. It will not play your MP3's or answer your cell phone, or collect unicorn tears from space (in other words it will not do childish crap), but it will get you to where you want to go quickly and easily. The audio ......

Simply put, this is a great GPS. It will get you to where you want to go, quickly and easily. The audio is very easy to hear and understand, the screen is large, and it makes few mistakes

It does not seem to in dicate when the battery is fully charged and the literature does not mention battery time

Simple to operate & capable, but not ground-breaking

All in all this is not a bad GPS unit for the price. While it lacks the "toys" and extras that other competing models may offer this unit is very capable and is more than sufficient for the practically-minded "function first" driver. The software is...

Easy to setup and use ; Quick to adjust to your position in relation to where it meant for you to turn ; Decent position tracking in both "directed" travel and in "map browsing" modes ; Standard "day/night" display color modes

Lacks the bells and whistles of other units ; No bluetooth or multimedia capability (It DOES speak directions to you) that other units are praised for ; Proprietary map software

Junk, POS, Kids toy

Research the reviews, Like I should have.

Um, Hmmm, oh yea, theres.....No thats my Tom Tom

Junk, really basic, usa only no canada or mexico, no updates or maps, better out there for same price or cheaper, really limited point of interest. Not for traveler. Cost too much, features to little

Don't be cheated by Pharos. Maps are outdated and you need to buy seperately.

Don't be cheated by Pharos. Maps are outdated and you need to buy seperately.

Pharos is cheating customers. I bought Drive 200 in June 2009 but maps are very old and out dated. I contacted customer service and they told me to wait for updates and did not mention that updates are not free. I decided to wait instead of returning...
