Although Pioneer's AVIC-HD3 is indeed a GPS system, it is far, far more than that as well. At $3799 it is (at the time of writing) the most expensive ...

3D Gyro Sensor, warnings for which lane to be in, large 7in screen, integrated DVD player, AM/FM radio, 10GB worth of music storage space, plenty of modular additions (at an extra cost)

Expensive, fixed to the car, will not fit all cars

AVIC HD 3 is marketed as a state of the art integrated GPS system yet it DOES NOT have speed and red light locations which are standard on any $200 units. What a oversight Pioneer!

Pioneer AVIC-HD3

Purchased the AVIC-F900BT from AutoBarn Preston Vic and had it installed yesterday in my MBenz ML 320, excellent unit and by far exceeds the MB sat nav at some $6,000.

Features, easy to use, changable display lighting colour range, live traffic updates using radio station info

price needs to come down a little

Excellent unit, bluetooth is great for phone calls when driving, sound quality excellent. Had it for 18months now. Worth the money...

Say no more... all in one

Can't copy MP3 to HD, hopefully will be fix in future updates. AU$349 for map update, should be $50 a pop

Good Unit only. Looks great in the dash.

GPS is great

Cannot copy mp3's to HDD, only from original CD!!! ipod navigation is slow and tedious. Too many audio options make it confusing

Love it. But expensive once you get all the addons. Was amazed at the quality improvement in sound. Voice recognition is great. Sat Nav is best i have used.

Unlike the Avic H3 it cannot be tailored to look like a factory fitted model by matching your existing interior colors. The Pioneer Blue is fixed

Well my unit is ready to be fitted to my expensive car, for what iv seen and heard its a screamer cant wait to tell you all more, rear camera, blue tooth are included if you tow a caravan you can have a camera on it as well for reversing.

we will see, we are trying to get extended warranty to five years again ill report on the outcom

awaiting braket to suit my car ex USA, been two weeks to date

I am presuming that if your brother owns it he is not in this country, as the first ones are still awaiting delivery, but I do agree, it is a brilliant product, and much better than the kenwood with a lot more functionality, especially the HD
