This product is fantastic We use it regularly more so in the cooler days.I bought this one as a gift for my lovely wife. Go out and get one, you wont regret it. Oh allow, to cool off a little, then wipe down with a clean swipe cloth. or paper towel....

Perfect appliance!

I bought mine in 2013 and use it 2 to 3 times a week. It is perfect for schnitzel, chicken breasts, fish and sandwiches and cooks fast and evenly the healthy way. It took me only a few times to know which adjustment to use for each cut of meat and I...

Okay for sandwiches

I find that it is good to use for toasted sanwiches but I will never use this inside the home to cook steaks. The smoke set off the smoke alarms and the meat was never grilled brown. It was a terrible looking gray colour and the taste was not the same...

OK for sandwiches

Heavy and difficult to clean

Good

Love this one! Had a George Foreman and had nothin but problems, bought this one and it is fantastic! So easy to wipe clean and cooks steak evenly! Even though it has rides on either side it is still easy to cook toasted sandwiches! Heats up quickly...

A little Beauty

a great machine, heats up fast, and cooks fast and evenly. Drains excess oils and fats away nicely. Like other appliances if you dont watch cooking times it will burn and dry out food. Thats human error, not the machines fault.

its easy to clean, what more can we say

a little expensive. fairly weighty but....

Terrible

None other than the fact that you don't have to watch the meat and it's fairly scratch resistent.

The meat comes out gray and kind of steamed. If it has a bone, it's impossible to cook evenly. ; The meat comes out dry and tough and revolting, even on a low heat. ; A nightmare to clean. The grooves are so deep and you can't remove them (removable...

Good

We find our Breville HealthSmart great when we feel like steak and the weather is bad for a BBQ. It does make the steak a bit dryer than BBQ'd but is healthier as it pushes out excess fat. I really like sausages cooked on the grill for this exact...

Great all rounder grill for meats, vegetables and toasted sandwiches.

Tends to get very hot on the bottom element quickly and can easily burn particularly with breads. I have burnt my toasted sandwiches often even on the lowest setting. But if you can get it right makes great toasties. Is a bulky machine if you are...

Good

Heats up quite fast, non stick surface really is scratch resistant with metal tools, floating hinge means you can put thick focaccias in it

If you don't position the food right then one half is squished down and the other half doesn't cook, for thick sandwiches you have to put them in cold and then turn it on for it to cook the whole way through, drip tray isn't held in very securely.

OK

Great for grilling vegetables like zuchini, capsicum, onion and mushrooms. They come out moist and tender - almost like steaming. Chicken grills quite fast in about 10 minutes but it can dry out the meat because all the juices tend to gather in the...

Cooks quite quickly

Can dry meat, cleaning it

Terrible

We were bitterly disappointed with this. We purchased it to replace a George Foreman and liked the fact that it had a temperature control option. In the end that proved to be useless because the recommended temperatures in the instructions produced...
