Crisp, balanced audio performance at moderate-to-reasonably loud volumes. Visually appealing design also offers secure fit. Inline remote control and microphone for mobile devices. Comes with multiple ear tip options.

Distorts on some tracks with intense sub-bass content at high volumes.

For $100, the most disappointing thing about the Nue Era is the distortion on deep bass material—there are now plenty of pairs half this price that don't suffer the same issues. That said, those pairs don't sound as crisp and dynamic as the Nue Era...

Polk Nue Era In-Ear Headphones Review

The audio coming from Polk Nue Era In-Ear Headphones is balanced and clear, with no distortion except at volumes you probably shouldn't be listening to, anyway. The bass can leave something to be desired, but some listeners might find that the Nue Era...

Audio is well-balanced; doesn’t overly favor lows, mids, or highs; in-line mic works well for iOS devices; tortoise shell model could make for a solid fashion accessory, comfortable fit

Feel too light and plasticky; no tangle-free cords; bass can be weak on some tracks
