Quality Workmanship, easy set up, very good sound

Sound projects into the room; wireless subwoofer works well; turns on and off with one Panasonic remote for TV, DVD Recorder and Sound bar; and you don't need a Phd in wiring and remote control operation to enjoy a home theater experience.

High quality fit and finish; great sound for our needs;works well with other Panasonic products;uses two HDMI cables and possibly 1 optical audio cable; great base; great price from Costco

No real problems with this unit. If you are real 'picky' and possibly obsessive you may find a fault

EZ hook up, sounds fantastic

For 200.00 dollars, Great buy.

Good price, Nice sound. Used the optical cable and worked fine. Sound bar is the future of surround sound. Simple set up, Great sound

Wish the cable came in the box. I was lucky to have the cable laying around

Surprisingly a great system

I got this system free with a Panasonic HDTV purchase through Amazon. I already have a 5.1 system for the new TV so I hooked this beauty up to my PC. I have to say, it would be worth the $240ish asking price for someone looking for great/clear sound...

Easy of use, hooked up to my PC with only an optical cable...that's it! Good bass. Clear sound. No issues with the wireless communication. Sure, It's no 5.1 system...but for the PC's excellent. Attractive build quality too

Wish the indicator lights would stay on for the options set. Not a big deal. I guess they didn't want a bunch of LED's lit while watching something

Couldn't Even Turn On Sound Bar

I bought this at Costco for $220 on Dec 7th to go with my 50 inch Samsung plasma, model PN50A550, purchased in Dec. 2008. The subwoofer plugged in easily into an outlet. The digital transmitter piece clicked into the back of the sound bar easily too....

Easy to pack up and return to store

Not functional on a 50 inch Samsung I bought 2 years ago

Panasonic SC-HTB500 Sound Bar Home Theater System with Wireless Subwoofer

This item will NOT replace a surround sound system. If you want something to "blow your socks off" this item is not for you. Mine came with a sub woofer and the sound is fine.

Easy to install (2 HDMI cables, 1 fiber optic cale ), takes up a minimum amout of space and enhances the sound from a flet screen

The remote is too small and could disappear in a couch pillow

If there's one thing that ticked me off about reading reviews for this product on newegg, it's that people keep saying "THERE'S NO BASS OR TREBLE CONTROL". Well, guess what, there's a bass up and down button right there on the small remote to adjust...

Small footprint ; Blends in with TV ; Sound quality ; Wireless subwoofer ; Easy setup ; Small remote (I don't need any more remotes, I've got 3 already) ; Price (paid $200 for it)

Blinking/solid flashing LED lights to notify you when settings are on/off, hard to tell when something's on or off (such as dolby virtual surround etc)

Hugely Disappointing

It took eight months for this product to come to market after it was announced at the CES in January -- with me eagerly awaiting it the whole time -- but now that it's finally in hand, I couldn't be more disappointed. Despite being hooked up to a...

Sleek and attractive

Requires its own tiny 'one-trick-pony' remote; poorly-located IR sensor; overly simplistic operation with no bass/treble adjustments

Not worth the cost of entry!

I own a Panasonic G20 and thought a panasonic ARC system would be the best thing to get. I was wrong. I hated the quality of the bass was way to LOUD or soft no ability to customize. I ended up buying a Sony HTCT150 and LOVE it.. Still has ARC support...

Wireless Sub, Uncomplicated Remote

Sound quality, inability to adjust Bass settings
