Panasonic SC-PT850 home cinema system review

If you've invested in a decent sized HD-ready television, picking up a decent set of surround speakers is a vital addition to get the most from the high quality digital audio available with modern equipment. Something like Panasonic's PT850 5.1...

Excellent sound quality, DVD player upscales to 1080p, choice of setup arrangement, easy to fine-tune, stylish

Lack of additional connectivity

Despite a couple of minor qualms we think the PT850 looks great and performs better, and considering the video capabilities included in the package is a bit of a bargain to boot

Panasonic SC-PT850

With its muscular black finish and 'tall boy' speakers, the Panasonic SC-PT850 makes an imposing statement in the living room. The four floorstanding surround speakers are easy to assemble, and can be wall-mounted or perched on a table-top

Panasonic SC-PT850

Excellent design and quality with an amazing sound, and the volume will blow you away, highly recommended

Would have been better with bigger wiring connections on each speaker to connect Monster Cables, and the bass should not have been hard wired. Would have liked more control over the bass output, but these comments in no way dissapoint
