Panasonic SC-PT950 Wireless Home Theater System

As you may note, the subwoofer is front-ported and stands more like a PC tower than the typical cubic subwoofer enclosures we typically see. The "tower" speakers are visually appealing, but do not make use of the full enclosure volume. In a sense, they...

Does not work for all iPods

Strange that Panasonic would put out a product that claims to be iPod compatible yet only on certain iPods...

great for movies ; looks good

does not work for most iPods (including shuffle, Touch, and all subsequent new generation iPods) ; Wireless rear speakers cut in and out

Solid sound for the money.

I purchased this from Costco last week for $399 and so far have been very impressed. I'm not quite sure why folks panned it with a 4. The bass shakes the walls in my living room, the wireless surround speakers are convenient, I can control my iPod...

Easy setup, great bass, clean sound, love the "tall boys

HDMI cable not included

Nice if all you watch are DVDs

This unit would be great if i just wanted to watch upscaled DVD in surroud sound but because it has no inputs i cant use it for blu-ray, playstation, etc. My bad i should have done more research before buying it. I do like the standup floor speakers...

lots of power, wireless rears, 1080P w/ HDMI

No inputs, sub not particularly powerful

Taking it back

Hard to believe this is being sold into the home audio market w/no SPDIF input. The 1050 has fiber digital audio, but no RCA SPDIF so I can't use that with my satellite dish either. But if you're satisfied with stereo audio inputs, it's great!

Wireless rear speaker, good audio, great video

No digital audio input. No rear fade

overall good sound for a small-medium room.

i like the cosmetics of this pruduct, looks really nice.

looks good

only 1 set of audio inputs, sub woofer is weak

Good system, but has its cons...

This is a great system in the fact that it has wireless rear speakers, an iPod dock that works well, and the 5-disc player will play just about any type of DVD I've put inside of it without any problems.

Nice, but room for improvment

Overall not a bad choice for a home theater. I dont like iPods but if you have one (or more) its a nice feature. This is not an "unbeatable" home theater system but it is still a solid sound system and has pretty darn good quality. I got this as a gift...

It looks nice and complements my TV well. Overall well rounded home theater system.A great improvment over any TV speakers

The speakers work great with the high sounds but the muddy low grumbling sub sounds could be better. Also the rear speakers are TOOO SOOOFFT. Thats my biggest complaint. If you dont stick your ear within a few feet of the speakers you will be unsure if...

Sounds great but no true 5.1 surround!

I bought a set of these from Circuit City yesterday after comparing its sound quality to every system they had in the pricerange of $300-$700 and deciding this sounded the best for the money it cost. I brought it home excited as a schoolboy to set it...
