Good sound

I got to replace my old alarm clock and ipod wall adapter and cables. The problem is I play the ipod all night long. I wanted to have the ihome alarm buzzer go off to wake me up. IF you are playing the ipod the alarm uses the ipod as the sound source....

The sound is good. It keeps my ipods charged.

Doesn't fit my initial need oif replacing my alarm clock and getting rid of the ipod charging cables.

Good for the price

I bought two of these to be sound machines for the kids rooms. After configuring a seamless loop of pink noise, push the two iPods (4G Video & 1G Nano) into them they worked perfectly. Been running them every night since with no issues.

Good rich sound considering the size and shape. The manual is pretty easy to read, having a switch for daylight savings (+1/-1 hour) is nice. Brightness levels are very acceptable for a large room.

The snooze timer function is odd and does not work as the manual states.

Decent iPhone / iPod Speaker

• Small • Large clock (can replace your alarm clock) • Easy to use • Decent sound for the price • Cheapest speakers that support iPhones (charge)

• No next or prev buttons, have to manage through your iPhone or iPod • No remote

Not bad for the price

I bought this on sale here, which was what made it worthwhile. I use it in my infant daughter's room to play lullabyes and quiet instrumental music, so sound quality is of little importance. It's not bad for a small mono clock radio, though. Works fine...

Cheapest iPod dock/speaker/alarm clock I could find. Small footprint. Included button battery backup. Energy Star rated (for what that's worth... but I guess it'll add up over the months/years). I also like the sleep timer for shutting off the iPod...

There are no dedicated "next track/prev track" buttons on the unit. You have to use the iPod's controls, which is more difficult when it's in the dock, particularly in the dark. LCD backlight is too bright. Even the dimmest setting is like a nightlight...

DOA..or not

It arrived with nothing more than the clock, an unsettable clock at that. None of the buttons worked regardless of what state it was in (plugged in/ipod/no ipod). I would plug a device into it and it would charge but not actually do anything with the...

Compact, convenient, looks sharp. Sound quality is decent for what you pay. It has a battery that keeps the clock rolling if unplugged. Newegg got it here fast as usual. Caught it on sale for $30, was definitely worth it.

Faulty? No remote, catches dirt/smudges easily, arrived non-responsive.

Too Bright!

Works as advertised. Clock, alarm, radio, ipod dock, 3.5mm input in the back. You know...

Sound quality could be better, but my main problem with this product is the brightness. I don't like my room too bright at night. Most clocks are fine, but this however is way too bright. This model has 3 different brightness settings (and off). Even...

Dissapointed with the quality

Purchased as a gift for my wife. The first one---within two weeks the display was all a bunch of characters. Returned it hassle free for a replacement. After 3 weeks with the replacment, the backlight on the clock is out. Sending in for Warentee repair.

Nice Product So Far

Quality construction, looks modern and stylished, Mono Speaker that sounds good (not great) even at high volume. Very small footprint. It is great as alarm clock or as a desktop radio. Sounds better than many Stereo radios.
