Essentials by Bosch TDA2602GB Steam Iron

This is a great iron and an amazing price - I only paid £29.99 at Argos. It has a new kind of soleplate - ceramic coated with the metal Palladium, which makes ironing so much easier as it just glides in any direction over any fabric. There is one...

Proctor Silex 17410 Easy Press Lightweight Iron

The iron does what I need it to. And I couldn't get anything like it at a lower price unless it was a gift. I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

Polti Vaporella Forever 980

Easy to use and last ages without refilling. seems to get the creases out easily too. My last steam generator lasted about 12 years and finally died, so I resorted to a normal iron for 1 week, while I researched which one to buy. That was long enough.

Sunbeam 4267 Professional Iron, White and Blue

While I like this iron pretty well, it did tip over with me once and melted some of the nap off my carpet. However, I was glad it did not scorch the carpet, and the spot is hardly noticeable.

After spending years struggling with a no-frills, hand-me-down, mineral-deposit-plagued Black & Decker 1200W iron (circa 1992) complete with a scratched up, tiny soleplate, I decided to treat myself to a new steam iron. After reading heaps of reviews,...
