Almost awesome

I could go on about how I would change this keyboard, but I am very pleased with it. It would have gotten a 5 if the main housing was made from a nicer material (aluminum would be nice), the play/pause/record buttons were aluminum, the other media...

Keyboard has decent range. I've not had any issues with they trackball freezing. Having a scroll wheel on the keyboard seems so logical. Why don't others do it?!? I haven't used the keyboard in windows, but all works well in linux

First and foremost, this thing is over priced for it's build quality. It doesn't have the feel of a logitech of MS keyboard, but it's in the same price-range. Would be nice if there was a way to "flash" different keycodes to some of these special keys....

Ok keyboard

The keyboard iself feels good inthe hands. The track ball is a little rough but works well, and the muse buttons are positioned fairly well. The 2.4 GHz wieless has great range and picks up from anywhere I use the keyboard in the room

Unfortunately, the keys don't rgiter the pesses very well and you really have to mash them down hard to make sue it egiters every time. Bein a keybord and all, this is a faal flaw that needs to be taken into acount if you are consiering this puchase

Works like it should

This keyboard is WAY cheaper than a bluetooth capable one, and works as I would expect for the price. Currently using it at about a 10-15ft range and it only misses a few keystrokes if I have it laying in my lap, (I guess I absorb the signal). The on...

This keyboard works great!

This keyboard allows me to type at a normal rate and rarley misses a keystroke. The key touch and keboard feel are fine for the price. I have used it from up to 20 feet from the computer (which is in a closet) without a problem. No problem with...

Occasionally, I need to shift the keboard position on my lap a bit to get a link ; The blue LED reception light on the USB receiver could be annoying if you are using it in a room with a home theater setup. This is not a problem for me with the...

Works Great for HTPC

Newegg needs to upgrade their servers. Their web site is getting slow.

The keys have a good feel. The trackball is nice and sensitive. I really like having a scrool wheel. The keyboard stays awake for a long period of time (maybe 10 minutes) before requiring re-awakening by hitting the spacebar twice. I use it from the...

There is no dedicated key for email but I overcame that by programming a function key for email. The keys don't seem to respond quite as quickly as I would like (especially the space bar) so I need to slow my typing down a bit

Good Idea, Bad Execution

Overall, this unit is WAY overpriced, and badly designed and built. Considering the lack of drivers and questionable mouse functionality, this unit should be less than 1/2 the price. They only get away with it, because there aren't many options on the...

Keys have a good feel to them. Unit feels fairly solid. I think it would take a pretty good beating and still keep going

The rollerball for the mouse sticks a lot. Makes it difficult to use in general. I've pretty much stopped using it in lieu of another wireless mouse ; No drivers. All the media keys are hard coded, so you can't reassign them to some other function. And...

Good

As I am using this with my HTPC and it is in an entertainment center it is annoying to have to press the sync button when I have not used the keyboard for a few hours. I would still buy it, but it does not get a 5 because of this con.

Trackball works perfectly and the keyboard has a good feel as well as all the needed keys

The keyboard loses signal after a period of non-use. This seems needless as it would not hurt the receiver to stay active. Instead you have to press the button to sync it again with the keyboard

Very nice for a HTPC

Its not a big deal to me but i know some people like to have the little feet under the keyboard to raze or lower the board and this one doesnt have this but the preset angle is perfect for me so i dont care.

This is a very nice keyboard for any pc but even better for a HTPC. The build in track ball works so well. It is almost as good as a normal track ball. It is very light and comfortable to use. the range is excellent. This is perfect keyboard for me....

I could only really find a few cons with this keyboard but even thouse arent a big deal at all. One arent any ligts to tell you if the varis locks are on or not. two, the keys are a little stiff but very responcive. Thir, the little rubber feet on the...

Good Keyboard, after 2 RMAs

After experiencing 2 defective keyboards I wonder how long the 3rd will last.

Great Media PC Keyboard. Not too small, not too big. nMediaPC has very helpful tech support and quickly sent the 1st and 2nd replacement keyboards

Bad luck or bad build quality. 1st unit had a defective track ball. You can tell if there is no red light visible beneath the surface by the track ball. 2nd unit had a row of keys that did not work! 3rd unit works fine
