works great

Does everything I need it to to run my HTPC. I have the receiver a floor below my living room where i have my media closet set up and the signal is received fine through the floor about 15' away

The mouse has a slight tendency to jump while a movie is playing if i touch the pad. As in if I need to turn off subtitles or want to skip to a certain section and use the mouse pad, i cant cross the screen in one full swipe, when I lift my finger to...

Acceptable product

If I had a chance to play with this product before buying it, I probably would have picked something else. Having said that, I still feel like I paid a fair price for it, and I'm not dissatisfied with what I got for my money. I don't intend to replace...

Works fine. I have had no problems with reception. I use the keyboard on my coffee table which is about 5 feet from the computer

All of my complaints are rather nit-picky. The product works fine, it just has a few quirks ; It goes into a sort of standby mode when idle, and is unresponsive until you click the left mouse button, at which point it wakes up. I would prefer for it to...

Laptop keyboard for a desktop

Still getting used to it. Every compact keyboard like this is a little awkward at first.

If you like the laptop keyboard feel, and like to manipulate the track pad with your thumb while your hands are on the keyboard, this is the keyboard for you. I grew up with laptop keyboards, where I didn't have to take my hand off the keyboard to use...

It requires two fingers to use the trackpad's scroll feature, which means it can't be operated with the thumb while the other fingers say on the keyboard

Great for HTPC applications

Great for my HTPC that I built, small + good battery life. I use it 15 ft away from the computer and it works fine. overall a great wireless keyboard for the money, cant beat it. five eggs OOOOO

Not really a con but need to mention it anyway I have a wireless router that does seem to affect the track pad speed when I use it on the left side of my living room. when I use it directly in front of it at the same distance there is no problem. My...

Multi-touch mouse pad!

Make sure to turn off "Num lock at boot" in your BIOS settings (unless you like this behavior). This is stated on page 6 in the manual for the keyboard under the heading "Numeric Keypad" (R.T.F.M.). All in all, this is a great keyboard for the price....

Perfect size for an HTPC keyboard. Almost exactly the same size as the keyboard on my HP EliteBook 8530w laptop, which is one of the better laptop keyboards I've ever used. I have large hands and this keyboard works perfect for me ; The multi-touch...

It would be nice to have some programmable buttons in addition to the Home, Search, Favorites, and E-mail buttons (these are configurable in Windows) ; It would be nice to have a mute button. However, you can use F8 in Windows Media Center to mute the...

NUMLOCK is a BIOS setting...

Blackspire: You can change the default setting for the NUMLOCK key in your bios settings; it doesn't have anything to do with the keyboard. Most motherboards have the NUMLOCK on by default because typical keyboards have separate number and alpha keys,...

Nothing to add here

Really nice

This keyboard is perfect for my HTPC. When I need to do more than what I can do with my IR Remote control, this keyboard works very well. In fact, it is nearly the exact same size as my Lenovo X301 keyboard. I'm so glad I didn't purchase a standard...

Works even with USB dongle hidden from view from 15+' away ; Light and somewhat rugged ; Built in hot keys are a helpful addition ; The palmrest is a nice touch, makes it feel more like a laptop ; Keys are well sized for the most part ; has F-keys ;...

wish it had a trackpoint (like lenovos) ; on system startup, NUMLock is active by default...have to disable it on every boot ; for such a high price, I would have expected a nicer overall build quality or material feel...but still it's rugged...

SIIG JK-WR0312-S1 Black 88 Normal Keys USB RF Wireless Keyboard

Bought this for the wife for in-bedroom htpc and she love's it! Connection was instant, no loss of signal no matter which angle you are from the wireless reciever, and the touchpad is very sturdy and works very well. Over all, well worth the price

None so far, but I've only had it for a week
