Acer TravelMate TMP645-MG-9419

The Acer TravelMate TMP645-MG-9419 is an excellent high-performance business ultrabook that emphasizes raw power over mass appeal.

Excellent 3D and multimedia performance. 1,920-by-1,080-resolution screen.Discrete graphics. Plenty of I/O ports, including Ethernet, HDMI, and VGA. Biometric reader

Non-removable battery. No touch screen

The Acer TravelMate TMP645-MG-9419 ($1,299.99) is outfitted with a Core i7 processor and AMD Radeon HD graphics that help it achieve some of the fastest benchmark results we've seen on a business laptop. This ultrabook comes with a few drawbacks, like...

Acer Travelmate Pro (TMP645-MG-9419) review: This mild-mannered case conceals a powerful laptop

This business-oriented portable delivers on speed and battery life, but its support options are staid by corporate standards.

Very good performance ; Long battery life ; Docking station option ; Aesthetically dull

Bottom access plate uses two gauges of screws ; Optional warranties limited to three years

For individual business users, this laptop offers a nice blend of modern features and solid performance. It's not stylish, but its input ergonomics are very good.

Acer TravelMate TMP645-MG-9419 Review

Excellent build quality, Light and thin, Plenty of connectivity, Speedy CPU and GPU performance, Long-lasting battery

Mundane exterior, Unpleasant keyboard, No touchscreen, Can run hot at load

Acer’s new TravelMate does many things right. The chassis is well built and functional, the hardware is extremely quick, the battery seemingly lasts forever and the MSRP is reasonable. All of these factors should add up to the best business Ultrabook...

Acer TravelMate P645 review

A budget business laptop with extra security

Compact, professional design ; Windows 7 option ; Useful security features ; Fair price

Crashed occasionally ; Pestering bloatware ; Awkwardly placed speakers ; Inconsistent touchpad

The Acer TravelMate P645 is a fine budget option for business users. If any configuration of this notebook falls within your (or your company's) price range, there's no significant reason against choosing the TravelMate over its pricier competition.

Acer TravelMate P645 Ultrabook

Acer's 14in TravelMate P645 is a business Ultrabook that's strong, attractive, and full of useful features

Solid build quality ; Good keyboard ; Long battery life

Storage space is tiny ; Touchpad driver is quirky

Acer's TravelMate P645 is among the company's best laptops. It's a 14in Ultrabook with good style, a solid build, long battery life, and plenty of features. It could use more storage capacity, and its touchpad driver is quirky, but overall it's a...

Acer TravelMate P645 Ultrabook

The Acer TravelMate P645 may be a 14in Ultrabook, but you could be forgiven for thinking that it's a 13.3in model at first glance. It has a slight build that ensures it's not bulky or heavy, and it features clean lines and a thin screen bezel, which ...

Consumer review by: Amit (newegg.com)

Easy to see why its awesome!!

The single reason I got this is because of the mechanical mouse buttons and the non-click-able touchpad. I really dislike the ones where the entire trackpad goes down or ones without dedicated mechanical mouse buttons. Thats the single reason all those...

Disclaimer: I have just ordered. [answering:"Why did you order it ; Core i7, 8 GB, 256 SSD, Full hd, very lightweight, Windows 7 Pro, mechanical mouse buttons and non-click-able touchpad, dedicated graphics

No major cons ; Memory: only 8 GB installed and max 12 GG, would have preferred 16 GB both ; No touch screen ; Keyboard travel is bit less

insufficient storage

I purchased this Acer computer to replace an older model Acer with the same size HD and was extremely disappointed to find I could not copy the files from the old to the new computer because there was not enough room for half of them! Even though both...

Light, neat, as fast as expected

128 GB SSD storage has only about 40 GB available for the user! After the operating system and the recovery partitions and hidden files, the remaining storage is insufficient
