Averatec AV2260-EH1

Despite a pleasing design and a reasonable weight, its poor keyboard and lack of upgradability hold this model back.

USB ports handily located, Great price

Keyboard feels mediocre, Not user upgradeable

Averatec AV2260-EK1

The Averatec AV2260 ultraportable is the right weight at the right price, but in today's tough market, we want more.

Very inexpensive. Built-in DVD burner.

Not enough battery life. Cramped keyboard.

Screen visible from wide angles, great for commuter seats. Withstands serious bumps and drops.

No Linux driver for the 1280x800 screen. Hard to find them in a store.
