HP Envy 13-d000ng Notebook Review

Value for money. The Envy 13 from HP is a fresh candidate for the subnotebook crown. We can say this upfront: It cannot quite keep up with the current leaders like the Dell XPS 13 and Apple MacBook in respect to the performance. But it does not have to...

aluminum chassis with very good build quality, QHD display with high color accuracy, low temperature and noise development in all situations, business-capable security features, excellent speakers, very good price-performance ratio

mediocre webcam, input devices could be better, low amount of RAM, not expandable, below-average battery runtime

The HP Envy 13-d000ng is an average device when you just look at the test results. Its QHD panel stands out from the masses, but does not set any records (even though the high sRGB coverage and the low color deviations are good). The performance...

HP Envy 13 Review

For many people, spending $1,000 on a laptop is not feasible, even if high-end hardware is important. This is where the HP Envy 13 comes in: it packs hardware that's comparable to a $1,000 laptop in a MacBook Air-like package, complete with a price...

Thin all-metal design looks pretty nice. Fantastic, responsive ultrabook keyboard. Good range of hardware at a great price.

Below average display. No USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3. Lacklustre storage performance.

There are many aspects to the HP Envy 13 that make it a great laptop, particularly for users after something closer to the budget end of the price spectrum.

Review: Battery life and keyboard problems hinder HP Envy 13 Ultrabook

It's a good laptop, but it's competing against some great laptops.

Good performance thanks to Skylake ; Good build quality ; Windows Hello-compatible fingerprint reader ; Cheap $50 upgrade to a high-res 3200×1800 screen, though the base model’s 1080p display is already pretty good ; There’s a Microsoft Signature edition

No DisplayPort means no 60Hz 4K output ; Base model includes a 128GB SSD, and larger capacities cost quite a bit ; Fan is audibly running all the time ; A white backlight on silver keys is fuzzy and hard to read

The Envy 13 includes Core i5 or Core i7 processors based on Intel’s new Skylake architecture, paired with the Intel HD 520 integrated GPU. This is one area where the Envy definitely has an unambiguous edge on the Zenbook. As much as Skylake improves...

Here's why you should buy -- or avoid -- one of the world's thinnest laptops

Last year, something wonderful happened in the world of Windows laptops. Quality became affordable. Companies like Dell, HP and Asus started selling sleek notebooks made of strong aluminum and carbon fiber for less than $1,000.

The HP Envy 13 is a slim, lightweight notebook with a comfortable keyboard and decent speakers -- plus a fingerprint sensor that makes signing into Windows a snap

This thin laptop's battery life falls far behind the competition -- and performance can slow to a crawl while charging. No touchscreen option

HP's Envy 13 is a pretty good notebook, but why settle for good? Dell, Lenovo, and even HP sell better thin-and-light laptops.

HP Envy 13 #ExpressReview: The most elegant Windows 10 notebook

HP Envy 13 is arguably the best Windows 10 laptop in the market right now. Its quick, light and has one really beautiful display

The thing I didn’t really like with this one is its battery. It lasted me around six hours at the most and sometime I was searching for the plug point just after four hours. I think there is certainly some issue around the battery management of this...

HP Envy 13 Review: An ultrabook that is worth every penny

We review the latest ultrabook from HP, the HP Envy 13, priced at Rs 70,000 to find out how it fairs in the Indian PC market.

We were able to squeeze decent hours of battery on the HP Envy 13. It gave us 7 hours of battery life under regular use that included a bit of gaming and work, with Wi-Fi turned on. Overall, we were quite happy with the experience. Yes, the keyboard...

The HP Envy 13 is definitely a good laptop. Offering an all aluminum build, a beautiful matte display, good performance and a commendable battery life make it a very likeable package.
