So far so good

Was a little hesitant because of some of the reviews, but this battery works perfectly so far. Will update if it decides to die out in the near future.

Cheap replacement battery that works just as well as the original

Dell Inspiron Replacement Battery

This battery was a recommendation from Newegg with regard to a replacement for another that I had ordered that did not work. The first battery once charged, did not hold the charge and the computer gave error messages. This suggested replacement worked...

The only con is the new battery has an "extension" which makes it stick out from the laptop but it doesn't matter to my daughter

It is supposedly a 80W 9 cell battery, but at 50% i only had about 1 hour left of battery usage. However, I am running the highest speed 2.4GHZ Core 2 Duo for a laptop, maxed out ram, and 7200 rpm hdd and brightness on high while surfing the internet....

It works out of the box ; It was very inexpensive and it has a one year warranty ; It doesnt look like a refurb as it has a pretty clean aftermarket case that fit right into the laptop ; see other thoughts

Worth Springing for a New Battery

I was a little hesitant to pay this much for a new battery and not just live out the one I had. However, I clearly forgot how nice it is to have a battery that lasts even more than a full lecture. I also think it was worth it to get the 9-call.

Battery does not last very long

Less than a year ago I bought two Dell Inspiron notebook 1545s. I upgraded each to the 9-cell battery. After about 3 months of use, we started noticing that the charge didn't last but an hour at most. Now, both computers are getting a message on...

Increased Battery Life Definitely Worth the Cost

When I purchase a new computer, I always buy a spare battery "just in case." It was no different when I bought my new Inspiron 1545 just last month. As always, I ordered a spare battery to go with it. Usually, I just buy the same type as comes with the...

Power Adapter

Item was just as described and functions very well, was kinda weary of purchasing an item that I wasn't quite sure about for my laptop. Very satisfied and is compatible with my laptop!
