Was Expecting More From Reviews

This could be the way the vents on my MSI GE60 series laptop are designed and not flowing well with the location of the cooling pad fans. Either way its garbage and is not helping me. Paid and now lost $25. Not worth the return shipping and restocking...

It's a solid cooling pad ; You can move the fans underneath

My games still play at 87 to 90c (hottest core) at the fans full speed ; At idle I see maybe a 2-3 degree improvement at the most

Rosewill RLCP-11001

Going to order a few more for family members using laptops on thick tablecloths that block airflow. It makes a noticeable difference even with the fans turned off.

Larger than it looks in the pictures. My 15.6" laptop has room to spare, which is fine. The adjustable fan speed works well and keeps the noise down. Props up the laptop at a comfortable typing angle. Very good fit and finish for the price. Slide out...

I wish the USB cable had a right angle design where it plugs into the fan assembly. Not that big of a deal but it sticks out a little far on the side I use the mouse

It fits my HUGE laptop(Acer Aspire V3-771G-9665) ; To me the Blue LED is a nice touch not that annoying imo ; The fans are pretty quite

none at the moment

I just needed something to keep my quad core laptop "breathing" when I used it on the carpeted floor/couch, this does the trick. It has a couple of fans on the bottom I have not tried. The laptop did not really overheat once I got it off the carpet and...

Fits my 17-in laptop perfect. Good solid design for the price

Effective laptop cooler

Cons are pretty minor, but worth considering, for instance whether you want to just kick out the extra $$ to get four USB2.0 ports in the higher model. Having just two in this would have been super. Gave it the several-hour stress test today via a...

Provides effective cooling ; Sliding fan tray to customize cooling ; It's black ; Lightweight yet strong ; Quiet fans ; Nice surface finish

A few sharp edges ; Fans are blocked if you sit it on your lap (versus using a lower plate as a standoff) ; No USB ports (only available on a higher model) ; Storage bins (rear) do not permit passthru of cables from side to side ; No lateral movement...

Good idea, poor quality

Will update when I get my replacement. At least I can trust Newegg on this. 0 for 3 on laptop coolers.

The base and the fans are pretty nice. Not too loud when it works ; 2 eggs for base build quality and decent looking fans instead of flimsy plastic

The sliding up and down mechanism is cheap, and the included USB power cable is terrible. If the cord didn't sit just right in the slot it wouldn't power on. Sending back to Newegg for replacement ; 3 eggs due to poor USB power cable quality and the...

The power LED is super bright. Can be annoying.

The aluminum has a nice look and feel to it ; The storage spaces are pretty ingenious. Usually keep the power cord for the cooler and a flash drive in them

The fan assembly underneath the faceplate moves on two tracks (check out the product overview video), one of which broke within a month. Everything still works, its just a pain if you ever want to move the fan assembly
