The business

The best lens that I have ever owned by far, it is so sharp that you can almost cut yourself on the results, used with a Canon 2x Mk 3 extender it gives a 600 mm lens at f5.6 with very little degradation of the image. Lightweight, hand holdable and pin...

Particularly sharp prime lens

One of the sharpest Canon lenses but, inevitably, a prime lens is far less flexible than the zoom options which have now become hugely improved to almost match this. This is probably the most useful of the primes for quick shooting as it is relatively...

The lens was recommended by a friend.

Almost a permanent lens fitted to my Canon 5D Mk3. Although I find that to ensure a perfect sharp image of distant subjects the camera is best fitted to a good tripod.
