Seems a bit poorly built compared to my previous experience with Nikon lenses. Lasted a whopping 32 days before the image stabilzer went faulty

i cant take it off my rebel xti. it takes amazing pictures. zoom is spectacular, IS is flawless and all in all for the price this lens is a GREAT BUY
everybody is going to think that you are a pro now so be ready to attend soccer, games park outings, taking portraits etc. etc

Unrelated, can't seem to find that perfect Bag to fit the new setup. I like the compact bag I have but will not hold Cam and Lens while they are connected and I would like to leave them paired..Oh well worth the sacrifice. LOL
