Not worth it

 

easy solution: take all the inside out and use just the casing.Back to square viewing area and no blurry edges anymore. Works for me though...

It extends as it suppose to.

Not only it reduces the magnification of the viewfinder to 70%(which for me was a bad thing), it also reduces the view drastically from a square to a round viewing area and makes it blurry, especially around the edges . the manual focus on the camera...

IMHO, the T2i standard viewfinder makes you have to shove your nose/face into the LCD too much. This product made things more to my liking.

Fit my Rebel T2i perfectly, as you would expect for an OEM part
