That is a problem for Acer. Dell’s monitor offers a far superior ergonomic stand, better on-screen controls, and slightly better overall image quality. All of this leads to an obvious conclusion; you should probably buy the Dell.

Reasonable benchmark results; Good-looking design

Not bad in any category, but mediocre performance and a high price makes it difficult to recommend

Excellent out-of-the-box colour accuracy.

No pivot or height adjustment.

--Frameless design is definitely worth the premium. You will stare at a monitor for hours a day, so do yourself a favor and pay the small premium --IPS color gamut is very good. I don't have metrics here, but it's on par with my other IPS displays.

--Light bleed is rather poor. Watching dark movies in a dark room is an unsatisfying experience due to the bleed, which is almost exclusively in the corners. Usually I find monitors have them on the entire edge, but never this bad for a new unit....

Screen resolution and lack of L and R bezel gives this a 5!

Lack of VESA mount. If you want to mount these on a wall without the stand you are going to have to super glue brackets. Of course if you really wanted to get picky, these would be better with no bezel on the bottom as well.
