Dell UltraSharp 27 (U2717D) review: Big and bright but a little frill-free for the money

The 27-inch UltraSharp U2717D monitor performs well, but don't overpay for it.

The Dell UltraSharp 27 (U2717D) is bright, with good general-purpose resolution and color quality.

Feels a little flimsily built.

It's not the most feature-packed monitor you can get for the money, but the Dell UltraSharp 27 (U2717D) is a fine general-purpose display.

Dell UltraSharp 27 InfinityEdge Monitor U2717D

The Dell U2717D is a 27-inch In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitor that delivers accurate colors, wide viewing angles, and very good grayscale performance, but lacks advanced color controls and is priced higher than competitors.

Very good performance. Bezel-free design. Highly adjustable stand. Good port selection.

Expensive. No advanced color settings.
