If you get a good one, this is a gorgeous screen

I gave this monitor a poor review earlier because I received a broken one. Depite the pain of getting it shipped back to newegg, I'm extremely happy with it now that I have a working model with no defects at all.

Sharp details, extremely good price

It might take you a while to get one that works correctly. This is my second RMA. It was worth it

Great Deal

Basically a "budget" version of the NEC 2690WUXi and Planar PX 2611. The panel on mine originally arrived w/multiple cracks in the panel; Newegg was great and sent me a new one within a week. I also didn't have to pay for shipping out the broken one....

26" H-IPS (same panel as the NEC 2690WUXi and Planar PX2611) for $400? Wonderful, also competes with top TN panels for low lag rates (great for those FPS fanatics)

Wide Gamut may not be for all users, and the the stand can get wobbly at times

Worth what I paid for it.

The backlighting gives me a headache. I can't open an internet window at full screen or it's blinding. A high quality TN costs about the same thing as this low quality IPS. That's the cross-shopping I did. Too many cons to deserve more than 3 eggs. I'm...

IPS Panel. -Good colors, good viewing angles. Nice picture ; Speakers. -They suck, but it's an added bonus ; Polarizer. -I'm no expert, but I don't see reds at angles ; No dead pixels. -I think I'm fortunate to have received a monitor without any ; The...

Inconsistent backlighting. -The backlight on the lefthand side of the screen by the edge is not as bright as the rest of the screen. All of the edges of the screen appear a little dimmer than the middle ; Brightness. -The backlight cannot be adjusted....

DS-265 Monitor

I love Newegg for their service. I ordered 2 by mistake and they agreed to take 1 back. I would purchase this again for this price. I think this monitor makes a great secondary monitor.

Excellent color reproduction. Well built monitor for the price. Did not have any issues with this monitor (other than 1 stuck pixel)

Too Bright I had to turn down brightness and contrast but I made small adjustments to reduce the brightness somewhat and still have excellent color reproduction. Had 1 stuck dark blue pixel that is barely visible and only visible on a dark background....

DoubleSight DS-265W Black 26" 5ms(GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor 500 cd/m2 DC 3000:1(1000:1) Built in Speakers w/ Height, Swivel and Pivot Adjustments

Superior picture quality and no ghosting make it a winner. Brightness isn't that bad. Speakers were not tested.

Cheap IPS panel. Excellent viewing angles! Google "lcd test" and check out the tests - after calibration this monitor looks superb. Portrait/landscape and height adjustment are great. No ghosting noticed on games

A little too bright. Relatively larger 3 cm and 3.5 cm bezel on bottom and sides. Does get toasty in back, and it does use a notable amount of power vs other monitors

I'm very satisfied

Despite what has been written, there is both a brightness and contrast adjustment, as well as preset and adjustable color points. the switches are no better or worse than many others. If you want a really high end monitor, then go buy an Apple or maybe...

beautiful appearance ; no stuck/dead pixels ; excellent stand ; good controls

supplied cable is short (6' or less) ; some backlight bloom on the upper right corner ; vertical viewing angle is good but not as good as my HP

Piece of Junk

Remember that an RMA still costs money to ship. I've saved nothing so far. I should have gone with a better brand.

None

The quality control on this monitor is ridiculously poor. I'm sure if I eventually get a working one, it won't be so bad

bright and perfect picture

I would have never thought that I would ever say this about a monitor: It is too large and too bright. If you have a standard depth desk think twice about getting this. It is just my personal opinion. @Newegg: Great service as always and many many...

bright and great picture. Coming from a TN Panel, this S-IPS is a huge step up

The power supply has a buzzing noise. Might not bother you but with a near inaudible PC that is annoying. The brightness has its downside. Like someone below me mentioned, it is blinding. And the problem is, if you reduce brightness, games like CS...

Excellent monitor if you get one that works

It's a great monitor if you get one that works.

Excellent colors ; IPS panel ; Definitely has A-TW polarizer ; Great price

The monitors are definitely lower quality. It took 2 returns for 3 monitors to get one that works. Issues make me wonder if these panels are indeed B stock that didn't pass quality standards. First monitor had problems with severe...

So far so good.

Maybe a little bright compared to my 24 inch dell wpf2408, and i only found the stuck pixel (green) after hunting for them. Plus i have not noticed it since during use. only shows up if the screen is full black and i look for it. Overall not a bad...

Good size, good color, ips panel, good price. Came next day (to cali)

1 pixel stuck in green
