Apple's Bluetooth Mighty Mouse reviewed

So we're sure there's a select few who have managed to resist the temptation to cut the cord and pick up Apple's newest Mighty Mouse, and unless you simply wouldn't feel whole without having it in your collection, you should probably stick with your...

Apple Wireless Keyboard and Mighty Mouse

The Apple Wireless Keyboard and Mighty Mouse deliver simplicity and elegance, but at some cost to wrist comfort.

Sleek design. Thin profile with a small footprint. Bluetooth connectivity. Keys are soft, fast, and responsive. Excellent software utilities support in OS X

No number pad on the wireless version. No recharging station. Cumbersome one-button mouse. Keyboard is not ergonomic. Will work with Windows, but specialized software is not available

Apple Bluetooth Wireless Mighty Mouse review:

We suspect that for many of you, the simple fact that Apple's Mighty Mouse has shed its cord will be reason enough to buy it. You won't care that your mouse now requires batteries, nor will you balk at its $69 price tag. And you probably won't find the...

Bluetooth wireless connectivity (even works in Windows, with Boot Camp); batteries lend welcome heft; ease to install and set up.

Side buttons lack sufficient tactile feedback and require too much pressure; doesn't work with standard Windows-based PCs (at least, not easily).

Apple's new wireless Mighty Mouse cuts the cord, giving you the freedom of untethered mousing. The design isn't perfect, and Apple isn't shy about the price, but Mac desktops and laptops beg for as little clutter around them as possible, and for that,...

Apple Mighty Mouse review

Apple Mighty Mouse

Attractive design; scroll ball is comfortable and easy to use; works with Windows and Mac systems; integration with Tiger is flawless.

Side buttons are hard to squeeze; comfort could be improved.

If you have Tiger, Apple's Mighty Mouse is worth a look, but if you're a Windows user or have an older Mac operating system, better mousing options are available.

Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse

Apple improves upon its original multi-button mouse by replacing the USB cord with a wireless Bluetooth connection and upgrading the Mighty Mouse's eyesight with a precision laser-tracking engine that works on almost any surface. The result is an...

Good battery life; on/off switch; excellent wireless range; attractive design; useful scroll ball lets you move in every direction; precise tracking

Force-sensing buttons difficult to press; limited button-programming options

The wireless Mighty Mouseis powered by either one or two AA alkaline, lithium, or rechargeable batteries that are inserted into the belly of the beast (two non-rechargeable lithium batteries are provided). Apple touts the ability to use a single...

Apple Mighty Mouse Meets The PC

The Apple Mighty Mouse works directly with the latest version of the Macintosh OS. However, this review focuses on exactly what you can expect when using the Mighty Mouse with a Windows based PC.

At home I work primarily with a Macintosh, and would not be without my Mighty Mouse. Being able to scroll in all four directions without moving the mouse is very handy. I was so fond of this device that I bought a second Mighty Mouse to use at work....

Apple's Mighty Mouse

(8/8/05) After nine years of mulish resistance, Apple has finally decided to create a mouse that not only has more than one button, but -- gasp -- contains a scroll wheel and other buttons, too. Gussied up in the typical sleek, minimalist Apple style,...
