XFX WarPad Review

XFX is a prime supplier of well known video cards and power supplies. But at the recent Computex in Taipei, XFX changed gears by showing off its newly patented WarPad. Having never released a mouse pad before, XFX decided to go big or go home in its...

It’s HUGE ; It clamps to your desk so it doesn't move with you ; The wrist support actually reduces gaming fatigue ; Spending ’5 more than a normal pad of similar size gives you some wrist support ; Double the thickness means extra comfort

It’s HUGE ; Limits your desk/table options ; It can't handle older desks with a large finished front ; It won't fit securely around thin desk edges ; 55 is a lot to spend on a single mouse pad

When the WarPad first showed up on my doorstep, I was worried about the massive amount of desk space that would be rendered unusable. However, after a week with this pad, I don’t think I will be going back to a normal mouse pad. Its size isn’t the only...

An XFX Mousemat? eh? say what? Normally, when someone offers me a mousepad for review, I immediately feign interest and try to end the phone call as quickly as possible. Reviewing a mouse mat is g...

Okay Product

I wouldn't buy it by itself due to the lack of space, but I can see an appeal for a larger mouse pad. I have a portion of the mouse pad hanging off the back of my keyboard tray.

Large mouse-pad with a handy clip to keep it from sliding all over the place

Some desks may be too small for this to be useful. I wouldn't buy it if you are concerned about your desk space

Freezes - Must be hard reset often.

Got it free with my XFX R9 390, and it's huge. It's 2 inches short from being bigger than my 23" computer screen. I can probably use it for yoga ; Still the best pad I've ever owned

My dog uses it as a bed

it was free

It was free with the purchase of my graphics card. Like the size. Like the way it clips to the edge of the desk. Top quality materials and finish

Does not lay completely flat where the foam is attached to the plastic front clip. The torque of the clip pinching on the desk, deforms the plastic between the left and right clips, this produces a bubble in the space between, which is exactly where I...

AWESOME

Nothing really .. its a cloth surface, the ware was expected .. but four years @ 30 bucks .. I think it was a great buy. It is large .. but it's one of the things I like about it .

Love this mouse pad. Very comfortable, large, and the clipping part is great. I use with laser mouse with about a 4000 to 5000 dpi setting, Never had issues

Not really a con. After about 4 years is started to ware a bit .. but its cloth. Figured that was time to get it replaced. So buying another

Not for everyone, but not bad

The armrest has an elegant, yet functional design, but works best on desks with a flat, rectangular front and underside. Desks with fancy curves in the leading edge, or a crossbar, won't fit it as well (crossbars can sometimes be removed, it depends...

Really big

If your thinking about getting this mouse pad i would wait till it goes down a little in price or goes on sale it is worth it if you pay $30 or less for it.

I purchased it when it was on sale for $25 so it was worth it. It it extremly big so its very helpful especially when playing bf3 when flying an airplane. Went 5 hours straight playing and my arm didnt get tired at all

the regular price of $49 is a bit high
