XFX WarPad Review

XFX is a prime supplier of well known video cards and power supplies. But at the recent Computex in Taipei, XFX changed gears by showing off its newly patented WarPad. Having never released a mouse pad before, XFX decided to go big or go home in its...

It’s HUGE ; It clamps to your desk so it doesn't move with you ; The wrist support actually reduces gaming fatigue ; Spending ’5 more than a normal pad of similar size gives you some wrist support ; Double the thickness means extra comfort

It’s HUGE ; Limits your desk/table options ; It can't handle older desks with a large finished front ; It won't fit securely around thin desk edges ; 55 is a lot to spend on a single mouse pad

When the WarPad first showed up on my doorstep, I was worried about the massive amount of desk space that would be rendered unusable. However, after a week with this pad, I don’t think I will be going back to a normal mouse pad. Its size isn’t the only...

AMAZING! SIMPLY AMAZING! After D3 came out, I began noticing some seriously wrist pain... funny how that happened. Anyways, I saw this on sale and had to try it out. Absolutely no wrist pain at all! Now if only they would come out with a keyboard...

Really big

If your thinking about getting this mouse pad i would wait till it goes down a little in price or goes on sale it is worth it if you pay $30 or less for it.

I purchased it when it was on sale for $25 so it was worth it. It it extremly big so its very helpful especially when playing bf3 when flying an airplane. Went 5 hours straight playing and my arm didnt get tired at all

the regular price of $49 is a bit high

Now if XFX could just come up with a gaming-chair with a built in refrigerator and toilet, I would be in heaven!

The XFX FXGS2LAYER WarPad w/ Edgeless Support System is just marvelous on my wrists. Thanks to the extreme squishiness of this product, I no longer have to take breaks during my intense 48-hour-at-a-time gaming sessions. In fact, my wrists are so...

Keeps me playing for such long periods of time that my wife has threatened to leave me

Perfect for carpal tunnel sufferers

If you already have your mouse pad on the edge of your desk, either because its comfortable for you, or because you're trying to keep pressure off your wrists due to carpal tunnel, this is the pad you should definitely try - well worth the money!

I've been a fan of big mouse pads for a long time. This one stood out specifically because of the "edgeless" aspect, which caught my eye due to my bad/aching wrists. This mouse pad does not fail to disappoint. Long gaming/computer sessions really don't...

Takes a little while to get used to the pad actually being over and under the desk. When I roll my chair under my desk, I need to make sure the chair arms don't hit the pad, but it's not a big deal. Recommended for someone using a very adjustable chair

If you love gaming, and want a awesome but huge mouse pad, this thing is the thing ya need.

This thing is HUGE! It fits my desk perfectly and i see why some say it wont fit a huge desk which it probably wouldnt. But this thing is very soft comfortable and looks awesome

MASSIVE. Pricey, sucks but its worth it

Most comfortable, but not the best surface

I have used S&S Steel and a few Razer pads. I prefer hard mats. I hope XFX comes out with some other surfaces for smoother glide. I miss the speed of the Destructor compared to this pad. Not a huge issue. I just turn up the resolution on the mouse...

The mousepad lives up to being comfortable for long sessions. I have a half inch or so Ikea desk. It does not slip and I never go off the pad. It is nice and thick. Good idea

The surface of the pad is unremarkable. It is thick and works fine, but it is not a great surface. The construction could be better as it has some wrinkles where it was glued together that have not gone away. Overpriced for sure

Very Nice Mouse pad.

Tight case which makes building more tedious but looks nice. Motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3. So far everything that I needed to plug in has plugged in and there are lots of excess USB ports on back and front.

Feels great, mouse very responsive, would recommend if you need a BIG mouse pad and a soft edge

None so far, but it is HUGE

Worth the money

I had an expensive gaming mouse with special surface for laser mice that supposedly made for more accurate gaming and faster response time. Have not yet done a direct comparison to see if this pad incurs any less accuracy or responsiveness...

Extremely large mousing surface. Much greater than expected even from the videos seen on YouTube before purchasing. The table I use it on has almost a 2 inch lip on it so I was worried the mouth of the plastic clip would not be able to spread wide...

None so far. Will edit later if I find any
