Not Worth It!

 

It is not worth the trouble to purchase this MP3 Player...it might be at least acceptable if you include the rebate. I never received mine, even after ten months and four emails to the diabloTek rebate center.

Relatively inexpensive...if you include the rebate

Poor menu operation, average to poor sound quality, short battery life

was almost free with rebate was only reason I purchased, and rebate never came.

seemed good for price - but it has a clunky, not easy to use interface

go with creative zen stone, you will be much happier

i actually got my rebate - finally. waited patiently for ten months and emailed diablotek support about once a month. they were very quick to respond to my emails actually and they did have to send out another check (that's what they said, anyway). so...

cheap. got my rebate

battery drainer. rebate took 10 months to arrive

Another Sucker

 

I will never again consider a third string manufacturer's rebate offer as part of the price. Newegg should realize this kind of scam, though not their fault, damages their reputation.

With rebate would have been a cheap, if bulky, USB drive

Without rebate, overpriced junk. I finally got a response from the manufacturer saying that, even though I have copies of everything submitted, without delivery confirmation for my original submission it would be "hard" to qualify my request. Rebate...

put your money toward a different mp3 player because there is no deal to be had here.

Nice Player, Zero Rebate Value

 

REBATE is worth ZERO DOLLARS. Did 2 rebates with 3Dragon Rebates (8 & 4 months ago) and have not received anything from them. Sent them an email begging for my money, but don't expect anything. I have bought 2 of these in the past year.

Player is Great

REBATE is the WORST ; Made overcomplicated with the voice/memo recorder functions. Need to know how to use various buttons to get it to play music when it sometimes gets away (on power up) from this function. Not obvious on how to get back to the music...

Rebate?

 

If the unit is $5 withOUT any MIR, go for it. Otherwise, get something more decent.

The unit works as expected

I'm still waiting for the rebate check to show up... Hmm... Let me count... I submitted my rebate docs in August 2007. I still haven't received a thing from this company as of January 2008

Static noise after a few months' use

 

This was a gift for reenlisting in the Army, it has some messages engraved and does not have the brand, but it is the same player. It was free and I got a lot of hours out of it, so it wasn't bad at all.

It's cheap, it's small, and does what is supposed to do

After about 6 months of usage, I hear background/static noise when listening to my music, regardless of the headphones I'm using. Software? Unlikely. Hardware: most likely
