Get wet with Oregon Scientific's MP120

 

Have you been waiting for the day you could rock out to your favorite tunes while splashing about in the pool? Now you can with the MP120, but beware of a major downfall. Read on for the scoop.

Inexpensive; waterproof; built-in belt clip; doubles as FM radio; floats.

Poor-sounding earbuds; tiny LCD; doesn't support DRM WMA; stiff controls; earbud connector must be unscrewed for charging and file transfers.

Oregon Scientific's waterproof MP3 player lets you carry a tune in the pool, but the anemic earbuds drown the fun.

Compact, easy control access, nice back lit display for such a small unit

memory small, charges only on a computer, doesn't come with an AC outlet charger.

I had never purchased an MP3 player before and thought I would start with a small, inexpensive one to learn on and was so happy to discover there were waterproof units available. This is about the cheapest one of the waterproof units on the market...

My first and my last Oregon Scientific product. When I first uploaded some songs, it said that the disk was full and after unplugged it from the computer it was completely dead. I went to the shop and they gave me another one. This one worked properly ...
