I think it's easy to get carried away with quality - perceived or real. The 1500W just has 6 ink pots (unlike the more expensive models with subtle hues of black and so on), isn't terribky fast but is plenty fast enough and to my eye, produces stunning...

Advanced printing difficult to access and not as effective as original Epson 1270 facilities and STANDARD print quality not always as good as the old 1270 either - is this really product progress ? - or just a more expensive replacement ?
