Lexmark X502n

Although it's missing some fax features that many small offices and work groups find useful, the Lexmark X502n produces fast, high-quality prints. This is one laser multifunction that has a lot going for it.

Produces high-quality prints very quickly, Low print costs, Network ready, Built-in ADF

No junk fax blocker or secure fax receive mode, No way to save fax groups, Walk-up scanning is not enabled with USB connections, Greyscale scanning needs some improvement

Lexmark X502n color laser multifunction

Design The Lexmark X502n is a behemoth of a printer. It measures 21 inches tall, 19 inches wide, and 17.2 inches deep, and weighs a hefty 77 pounds. It's possible to move it yourself (speaking from experience) but not recommended, for fear of dropping...

Lexmark X502n

The Lexmark X502n ($699 direct) color laser all-in-one (AIO) does so many things so well that it could have been a strong Editors' Choice contender. Unfortunately, it trips over the little things, most notably clear instructions for how to use some of...

Fast. High-quality output. Printer; scanner; standalone fax machine, copier, and e-mail sender

Can't fax from PC. Lacks instructions for key features

The Lexmark X502n offers an impressive combination of speed, output quality, and features but lacks the fine attention to detail that would make it an unequivocal winner.

Lexmark X502n laser multifunction printer

Lexmark's home inkjets are the epitome of easy-to-install easy-to-use printers. It might be wise, then, for Lexmark's business laser division to go and have a look at how they do it, since this new laser multifunction device, the Lexmark X502n, proves...

If you like a little experimentation, you'll find the Lexmark X502n has more than enough ability and class to make excellent work of your printing, scanning and faxing. However, the Lexmark X502n's documentation is poor and, for the inexperienced,...

The product performs well. I chose it for speed and economical toner cartridges and drum. Compared to other machines in this range, the toner cartridges and drum produce more for the money if they perform as advertised. Happy with it so far!

This printer could have been a nice one, if Lexmark would design/write good drivers for it. As it turns out, you can't control/change paper size just from windows. Meaning, if you wanted to change the paper from Letter to Legal, you actually have to go...
