Mid Tower Blues

Might sell my old case, keep the Rosewill, and splurge on an ATX-E capable full tower so this stuff fits better. Although with an acrylic store here in town, I might make a custom case...

Excellent value:price payoff. The dedicated 12V channels for grafix cards are nice - no problems with my 8800GTS. Comes with plenty of power cords... as always, NE/UPS shipping was fast

This thing is HUGE - it's monstrous. There's maybe 3 inches between the back of the PS and my optical drives in my Rosewill Conqueror mid-tower. Also, the heat shielding on the cables makes them stiff... that combined with their length, makes them a...

It works!!

Other reviewers complain about these cables being too stiff. Probably trying to cram this PSU in a micro case. I had no issues with the cables being too stiff. Upgraded from a 350W so I can keep up with the new age. A lot happens in the computer world...

It works. Very shiny. Modular!! The cables are neatly wrapped in blue, now I want a cathode light

The beautiful shiny box collects fingerprints and minor scratches VERY easily... good thing only the one side is visible. I will follow up in a few months to let yall (yes i said yall) know if the PSU fries/dies

Way to go OCZ!

This is a great deal for anyone on a budget, so get it while you can! If your looking to upgrade your old under powered PSU, then this is the best deal in town.

Plenty of power for most of todays DIY'ers ; Unless you are one of those hard core gamers who think that more is the only way to go, and can't live ; with less than four video cards and five hard drives, this power suppy will certainly deliver the...

Modular cables are a bit on the stiff side due the ; heavy duty shielding that encases each unit. I did ; take the advice of the poster who suggested using a blow dryer to warm the cables before installing them ; into the PC case. Great tip thanks....

Good power supply; strange format?

Great PSU, great bargain. They could've mentioned somewhere on the box or on the site what kind of case this is built for, though.

Good power supply, has been running my 6 case fans, opteron, ati 4850, and power-hungry dfi ultra-d without a hitch

Before this power supply, I thought all PSUs were built to the same or similar dimensions unless specifically noted - I was wrong. This PSU is long but not wide - meaning that in my full tower it's too small to mount (not even one of the screw holes...

PrimEvil saved my life with the post below. I thought my PSU was DOA but turns out it wasn't. Thanks!!!

Looks very nice. Shines, glows. Lots of power. Cheap

Stiff cables. Modular doesn't click

Update for supposed DOAs?

For those that find the system only powering on for half a second ( i.e. lights/fans, flash/starting to spin, then nothing), this happened when I pluged the 6 pin SATA connectors in to the 6 pin PCIe slots. Look at the different white vs clearish...

Your PSU may not be DOA. See origenal review by me

Design oversight by OCZ? Be SMARTER then the product! White vs clearish plastic is hard to see. Blue and white would have been easy to see, or just make the plugs different. ;-)
