Samsung ML-1665 review

The Samsung ML-1665 is an ultra-compact single function monochrome laser printer targeted at the home office and small business. The ML-1665 combines print speeds up to 17 ppm, a monthly duty cycle up to 5,000 pages and ahigh yield toner option that...

Compact ; 1 W sleep mode ; Low initial cost

No network connectivity ; Manual duplexing

The ML-1665 isn't ideal as anything other than a desktop printer simply because it has no network connectivity and can't be shared among multiple devices. If you are looking for a no nonsense printer that can be connected directly via a USB cable, than...

Samsung ML-1665 Laser Printer

Incredibly small ; Great for students & home use ; No performance complaints (performs just like it's much larger counterparts) ; Great price (around $95CDN)

Absence of networking capabilities ; Does the toner have to be only $20 cheaper than the printer

The Samsung ML-1665 is the perfect laser printer for those who don't want the cost associated with an inkjet printer, or the investment of a colour laser printer. It's the perfect size for students and dorm rooms, and a fraction the size of a most...

Samsung ML-1665 review

The ML-1665 isn't designed for heavy printing but it's cheap and compact, with good print quality, making it a good option if you're looking for a personal laser printer.

Samsung ML-1665 Mono Laser Printer

A simple yet nippy mono laser printer that won't break the bank.

Very space-efficient ; Cheap ; Fast

Running costs not best-in-class ; Basic feature set

If all you need is a simple printer to produce correspondence and screen prints, the Samsung ML-1665 fits the bill well without making you gasp when you see its price. It's an excellent mono laser that shows a very respectable turn of speed, with very...

Samsung Tiny A4 Laser Printer : Samsung ML-1665 Mono Laser Printer

This is said to be the world's smallest A4 laser printer, certainly I have not looked at a smaller one. However it is a 16PPM mono offering that works with later versions of Windows without even having to install any software.

It is 34x18x22+15cm when paper input tray is open. It is black and weights a little over 4kilos so should work on a shelf. The unit has a simple design the front folds forward to make the input tray, the top folds forward to make the out tray. At the...

Samsung ML-1665 laser printer review

I can remember a time when the only sensible option for home printing was to buy an inkjet printer. Laser printers were just too expansive and massive for your average home user. Although the prices have been falling for a long time it's...

A Long Lasting Quality Printer

I have owned this economical monochrome laser printer for 5 years and it has never failed me. It has been a wonderful value and I will continue to use it until (when and if) it ever fails. I trust in Samsung printers always.

The fuser is not serviceable and is the determining factor in the life of the machine. It's expected life is 50K sheets which is not a lot for a laser printer. Mine has not failed yet, nor has it even shown any signs of failure, I just don't like...

I have only replaced the toner cartridge once in all this time!

Sort of loud and sort of slow. Not a problem in a computer room.

Bought it as a gift for my sister for Christmas. A total of 63 pages has been printed and not only is there toner lines all over each page printed, the printer is overheating like crazy. Very high chance of fire hazard just sitting there plugged in and...

Overheating fire-hot, toner lines all over pages, burning smell, dangerous
