The Samsung SCX-4623FW delivers all the right MFP features for a micro office or for personal use, plus high-quality text.

Wired and Wi-Fi connections. High-quality text. Prints, scans, faxes even over network. Standalone copier and fax. Automatic document feeder.

Relatively slow. No duplexer, even as an option.

A glowing recommendation for a Samsung printer is becoming almost a monthy event in PC Advisor's pages. Following on from the Samsung SCX-4600 comes this retooled version that adds 33.6Kb/s fax facilities (amongst other things) to the mix.

If your main need is swift text output with a few graphics thrown in, you’ll find the Samsung SCX-4623F more than capable. Throw in those sterling scanning and fax facilities, and this is yet another winner from the Samsung’s affordable laser range.

You pay 30 more for the SCX4623F than for its simpler sibling, the SCX4600, but for that you get an ADF and fax. This is a pretty good deal and with the same laser engine as that recommended machine, this one is also one we'd think of buying ourselves
