Good bye inkjets

And it's not an HP. That alone make me happy.

A name-brand color laser printer at a great price. No more dried up, expensive ink jet cartridges. The replacement toner cartridges for this printer are inexpensive. The quality of the output is very good. And network configuration was a breeze

Pleasantly Surprised

First let me state this is a "home" printer (although my home has 10+ computers, Gigabit network, etc). We only print a couple hundred pages/month at most, so I can't speak to heavy business operation. I bought this to replace yet another dead inkjet...

Ethernet connection ; Original consumables are lasting longer than expected ; Compatible" toners available (bought them but haven't installed them yet) ; Very Quiet ; Very low power standby...wakes up quickly to print

Doesn't have automatic duplexing capability ; Don't expect to print photos that look decent. It's ok for a quick print, but nothing you'd want on the wall (same has been true of inkjet printers that claimed they would print photos)

Misleading Description

The product description references the convenience of solid ink. That's incorrect: this is a laser printer with toner cartridges. Not a lot of mess, but not as clean as wax sticks.

Overall great printer for SOHO. I still prefer the 8560 for presentation work, but the 6125 does a decent job

A couple of paper jams when using glossy paper. The 6125 does the same thing

Great Printer

I use 4 different printers at work, all of them HP (which I consider the standard for professional requirements). The Xerox Phaser 6125 is my home networked printer and meets my expectations of print quality and speed. The size of the printer is very...

The printer is extremely well designed and built. The casing is very solid and provides a sense of a solid product. The printer is very easy to place in use, the directions are very easy to understand. Common sense approach to all aspects of placing...

None so far. I have had the printer for a little over a month and am very satisfied with this system. I can not find anything negative about this printer

Perfect for my home office

I am an insurance adjuster and have to print large files with lots of photos. This printer does the job perfectly. Quite the upgrade from the HP inkjet. Prints much better and in about 1/4 of the time. So far so good.

Cheap toner (unlike Lexmark), simple to use, prints color faster than I expected. Very happy with this

No Macs, No PostScript

I've dealt with over 15 models of Phasers and they've all been great, but this one was truly surprising. The only one I've seen that does not support Macs or PS. *Note* I did know all the fallbacks from the 6125 from the 6130 (non-replaceable fuser,...

Cheap printer, free monitor, decent B/W prints, fairly inexpensive toner, built in

No Mac OS support! Printer arrived, I set it up, tried to use it and then discovered that there is absolutely no support for Mac OS!! Does not accept PostScript jobs, semi-washed out color. Non-replaceable fuser, so even though there is a 40k/mo duty...

OOOH Yeeasss!

I can't imagine this getting any better.

Price - Quality - Laser! - COLOR!! FREE MONITOR ... AND FREE SHIPPING? This sceptic is here to tell you that at first glace this might seem "too good to be true", but when I bought mine at ~$350 a few months ago and got a free monitor that's where my...

No Regrets, either! :)

Quality printer

Network settings work better when you assign it an IP address. I kept getting IP conflicts when it woke up with router set to assign IPs. Compatible toner runs 80-100 bucks(set of 4), or HC compatibles for around 130 (set of 4). For the price I have...

Excellent print and build quality. Very quiet printer compared to most I've owned. Compact, with built in ethernet. Nice bright vibrant colors (haven't installed compatible toner yet, so can't comment on those). Not perfect, but near photo quality, at...

Toner disappears pretty fast, especially the starter packs that come with the printer. 552 prints on original toner before black ran out. Wish it had a larger capacity paper tray and easier access to high capacity toner cartridges. 40k monthly duty...

Good Color Laser Printer

To get 1 year accidental damage coverage you have to go through a lot (but it has gotta be worth it anyway). It is NOT automatic by any means, so be advised.

I like this printer. When I purchased it it was on sale so got it at a great price. Toner is pricey but aren't they all. I use this to do work at my house. Meet all my needs. If it breaks down will definitely look for another Xerox. Xerox is a great...

It is a bit noisy. but quieter than the little cheap one I was using. Wish the ink lasted longer. I buy the high-capacity cartridges but seems like it goes fast
