DMA 2200

 

Dell is typically good at making it easy to access hardware components and this internal bluetooth card for my Inspiron 8500 is no exception. HOWEVER - upon purchasing the internal bluetooth card, I did not specify one way or the other than it does not...

It is great to have access to the media extender on the TV. You can play a slide show of all of your pictures or play videos from your computer. I do not notice any slowing of my computer at all while the extender is running.

I had difficulty with the installation especially getting my computer to see the media center extender. On startup it takes a long time to see my computer even though I have used an ethernet connection to my network, Like the Media Center I found the...

Small, quiet and unobtrusive

 

Works well out of the box on a wired LAN, have not tested wireless as I have a gigabit ethernet port where I've installed it. Only complaint is the device is longer (deeper) than it is wide, causing me to have to position it sideways on a wall-shelf....

Very quiet as compared to an Xbox 360, small form factor should fit in most installation situations. DVD player makes for nice add-on to DMA2100.

Nearly the same price as an Xbox 360, interface is a little sluggish compared to Xbox 360.

Media Extended

 

It provides a flexibility with your PC that is uncomparable to other products we have previewed. I can play my DVD's, Movies and all directly from my PC to my television.

Initially I thought it would be difficult to instal and work with all the required cables. Yet it just took patience and time and "ping" there it was. Put Together!!!
