First one powered up according to the power indicator but had no speaker output. Amazon promptly sent a replacement but it would not power up at all and did not have instructions in box. Returned for refund. May very well live up to reviews if you can...

I liked the "heft" to this unit. Maybe weight is not a factor in performance, but it has the feel of quality. Dials are well marked and easy to use. Set up was intuitive and easy. The only downside is that is does not have a balance control.

This is just what was needed to repair and upgrade a stereo system. My son gives this item high praise. He used it a bit differently than it was intended for, so he had to modify the case a bit to mount it.
