NAD T 748 7.1 3D Receiver Preview

If you are on the market for a NAD receiver, the T 748 is their newest entry level model. At only $900, you get the legendary (according to the marketing material) NAD sound and not a lot else.

NAD T 748 V2 Review

The NAD T 748 v2 focuses on audio performance over everything else, which makes it one of the best home theater receivers if you plan to listen to a lot of music. However, it can't connect wirelessly to mobile devices, a feature that's practically an...

It has a two-zone audio feature.

Those looking for an AV receiver that will do everything short of walking the dog should look elsewhere, for the T 748 acts more like a multi-channel integrated amp than a traditional AV receiver ; There is no auto room EQ or setup features included...

There's no getting around the fact that the NAD T 748 is a bit down on features, especially given its $899 asking price, but that shouldn't sway you from considering it, for it's one hell of a nice sounding AV receiver, one that is as good with...

NAD T748

NAD's 7.1 AV receiver is a classy customer but surprisingly limited for the money

Stylish and well built ; Smooth, controlled sound ; Auto calibration

Not as powerful or dynamic as some rivals ; Limited connections for the money ; Rudimentary onscreen display

Other connections include FM and AM radio aerial inputs, IR input, RS232, an MP Dock port for NAD’s IPD iPod dock and a socket for NAD’s DB2 DAB radio module. Binding posts are provided for all seven channels. There are no networking features on board,...
