Great affordable remote extender

Does everything needed. Works perfectly controlling my DTV DVR in the other room so we can watch it in the bedroom

Remote control extender LF-IRX

This answers our need and, not charged for another Cable Box.

Works as advertised. Using in bedroom and computer room upstairs with Cable Box downstairs. Simple set-up, could not be easier

So far none

TERK Leapfrog IR Remote Extender (LFIRX)

Works well! My satellite dish provider requires a bulky box at each TV which wasn't practical for the small wall-mount in the master bath. I moved the satellite box to the cable junction box in a remote wall, added a Terk Leapfrog transmitter there,...

Units could have been made a little smaller

I expect more of Newegg than this. I have spent well over $30k with over the years. The #1 reason I used to shop here was for the stellar customer service.

See that review by user "N/A?" Yep - that's me. I was so happy with the performance of this product

Unfortunately just 3 days outside of the 30 day newegg RMA window this device's range of operation became severely diminished. I cannot state clearly enough just how cheated I feel that because of a mere 3 days and despite others having the issue I...

Far exceeded my expecatations

I previously purchased an IR repeater/extender from mono-price and it worked horrible. I had to stand within 4 ft. of the sensor for it to pick up my button presses on my remote(s). I returned that one and ordered the Terk here at Newegg expecting at...

Very large distance/range of operation - manual quotes 20ft. but I was able to get up to 30ft. Flawless operation - no noticed delay

Can't find any yet

excellent remote extender

I will differently be orders one more from Newegg

work right out the box, plug and play... takes reflected signal off the wall too... no need to point remote directly at this unit ; wish I found this a year ago for my projector currently using it for and cable/ DVR box that sits opposite to the wall...

6 inch telescopic antenna takes away from it's otherwise small profile

Mine was DOA, Support was no help.

Your mileage may vary, but I won't buy TERK again! Price is good but you get what you pay for.

Bought it on Newegg so it got returned no problem

DOA ; Weak instruction manual (how hard would it be to indicate with a little dot or something WHERE the "signal received" LED you're looking for is? Mine wasn't working, so I wasn't sure I wasn't just looking in the wrong place.) ; I called Audiovox...

Over sensitive

Place the transmitter in a location that is well shaded from all light sources in the room but still has a clear line of sight to where you use your remote control. Rubber reinforced or internal antennae would be a nice improvement.

Simple to set up and works great when done properly. Operates as both a base IR transmitter and has an IR blaster wire with 3 transmitters on it. Also, it is a lot less expensive than other IR extending solutions

THIS UNIT IS VERY SENSITIVE TO FLORESCENT LIGHT! If you have a light using a CFL bulb where the light will shine even indirectly on the transmitter unit, it will transmit the light as a signal and thus not work ; Antennae are a little fragile being...
