Grundig GUFSAT01HD review

Like their SD cousins, the Grundig GUFSAT01HD and Bush BFSAT01HD are extremely similar in all ways. They perform the same functions, to the same standards, in the same ways.

Easy to use ; Good SD and HD images

Poor onscreen grahics ; Silly arental lock

Grundig GUFSAT01HD

A solid all-round Freesat performer, but usability could be a touch better

Very compact ; sound is fairly balanced ; clean and stable with all pictures, particularly HD

Temperamental first set-up ; slightly soft SD images ; Humax menus are better

Upgrade

I already owned the SD version which is very good but with the purchase of a new tv I wanted to take advantage of the HD facility so read the specs and reviews of this model and thought that tthis machine would be as good as, if not better than, others.

Decent box but let down by old stock

So, I had this box a week and I was quite impressed with the BBC HD channels. The Rubgy and Football look especially crisp compared to that of Standard definition on sky. Even the Standard def channels on the the box look decent.

Grundig GUFSAT01HD Freesat HD Digital Box

Excellent replacement for a failing Sky digibox. The box is small, neat, and unobtrusive. All necessary cables and batteries were included. Installation was so easy as to be completely painless, indeed, it was faultless fun. The Instruction Manual is...

Excellent Economical Solution

We purchased a new, large LCD TV and the feed at home was via a satellite dish rather than through an aerial. Not wanting to pay for Sky, a Freesat box was the way forward. This proved to be an efficient and inexpensive solution.
