TERK HDTVo Amplified Directional HDTV Antenna Review

Opening the box will reveal the following items…

There you have it. The TERK HDTVo is a good antenna for getting all your local channels. It’s got great packaging, flexible in being installed indoor/outdoor and includes everything you need to get started.

Best Antenna I've found

I am at least 20 miles from most broadcasts. This antenna picks up anything I point it at well. I've even been able to pick up stations 50 miles away, though I lose most the others as that station is at a completely different angle. I might get another...

Wish it were cheaper. ;)

Good little package.

Good directional unit but I feel the amp is the real magic behind the curtain with this one. But it did impress me with great reception.

This is a nice little bundle for the price. Small size with easy to use mount and the amp seems to work very well. Installed about 37-40 miles from broadcast attenna's here in the hills and mountains of WV and picks up all the digital station with...

The mount is nice but the lag bolts that come with it to attach to the house are very cheap and round off very easly due to the shape of the hex. Do your self a favor and get 4 bolts from the hardware store to attach it with

It works

I recorded two HD prime time shows at the same time on my Intel 8300/2g (not the fastest) PC, and WOW! On a 52" screen viewing the shows over the Xbox is unbelievable. I can hardly see any difference in the recorded vs. the live program. My stations...

I did some research, found db calculators (Google coax length calculator), and ordered this. I ordered it because it has a 13db amp, and the price. I set it up temporarily on a post around 8ft off the ground that is shooting between (not over) my...

TERK HDTVo Amplified Directional HDTV Antenna

The amplifier that came with it, didn't seem to do anything, so I tried an old amplifier that I had which does work, and it didn't make any difference either.

It did work a little. It had a versatile mounting mast. RMA'd for a refund

This product did not function very well for me, the best signal strength I could get was about 50%, standing on the roof of my two story house, which is on top of a hill 30 miles from the major TV stations. I got just as good a signal from an old bow...

I would buy this again in a heartbeat. So far great reception, easy setup and no problems whatsoever. I am about 25 miles from some towers with an amazing signal.

Very easy to set up, the amplified signal is plugged in right at the TV end (as I had hoped but never really knew till I got it). I have it inside the house in the attic and can pick up both blue and red band signals. Great reception

It is large, definitely an outside or an attic unit

Great Antenna

shipping is a little bit expensive.

10 miles out and it picks up all channels and most of them at 100% signal strength ; It's installed in the attic, hanging by some twine ; Don't forget to hook up the amplifier, it hardly works with out it

none

TERK HDTVo Amplified Directional HDTV Antenna

This antenna does an excellent job in picking up all of my available HD locals in my area. I am about 30 miles away from the transmitters and get about 90% signal on all locals except NBC (72) which is VHF. It also picks up analog signals from 90 miles...

Wrong chose of roof mounting screws the manufactuer includes

1. Check AntennaWeb.org before ordering any antenna to make sure you get the right kind of antenna and orient it in the right direction. A great site!! 2. Don't waste time on indoor and omni-drirectioals unless you live real close-in to your broadcast...

1. Small size for rooftop antenna ; 2. Easy to mount; good kit with antenna ; 3. I'm in the far VA 'burbs and I'm pulling in all the DC HD channels

Mounting kit is short; if you're way out, you might want a taller mast
